  1. In 11 seasons Buxton had, at all levels 26 errors; Lewis in 5 seasons, at all levels had 55 errors, Well that is an improvement over Gordon who in 9 seasons, at all levels had 96 errors.
  2. Unless it is already proven new will be better, that is simply wishful thinking. Twins wishful thinking after 2019 has been not good on average. Now tell me who will absolutely be better than Taylor?
  3. I used Kirilloff as they have a similar number of game played. AAA is for adapting not the Majors, unless you want the Twins to be a AAA team in the wrong league. Other teams have had rookies come up and show the majors is where they belong, no one, not a pitcher, has done that, with the possible exception of Arraez and he is no longer a rookie. Perhaps some here think there is another Big Pappy just waiting to blossom, but if not, no great loss except games.
  4. Well Kirilloff, whose is doing well and should remain, and Kepler have similar number of games but Kepler has 9 more rbi than Kirilloff. So just how are Kepler and Gallo killing the team? Gallo has same number of Ks as Buxton, and Kepler has 2 more Ks than Julien.
  5. Possibly just as you and some others are bot programmed to believe the rookies that so far have been meh are going to suddenly turn into super stars, could be.
  6. You may be too young to remember, but I remember well the 1970s when a lot of rookies came up and the best were no better than the ones they replaced, the rest....
  7. If you compare 2017 2022, similar number of game, his strike out number is lower last year but in other matters he did not do as well as in 2017.. Some thing has changed. He hates playing CF and his numbers show it, but his number is right field are some of his best.
  8. It would have been nice to have kept Arraez and let the Twins get another batting title , but him not being would have had zero affect on where the Twins would be now. He is not a miracle worker, just an old school style batter.
  9. BINGO I am sure the fans in the stands want to see the Twins team turn into an extended AAA team, or maybe be really good like Oakland. Throw the dice, fans don't care.
  10. Taylor is a known item; NO, lets go for wishful thinking Lewis or Celestino who has been a bust so far. I wish I had the crystal ball that some seem to gaze at. The bunch of rookies that the Twins let go, are with the exception of one, mediocre to just plain not good, too bad the Twins did not keep them.
  11. If Larnach was that good he would not be in St.Paul.
  12. Kepler is a well above average fielder; Wallner is a below average fielder, simple as that. Hitting well in the minors is not the yellow brick road to the majors.
  13. You do not like Kepler, oh my, oh my. 😆
  14. LOL, Twins want to win, not be the team with the worst fielding numbers.
  15. M'SN sports rarely has any thing to say about the Twins, I wonder if this will get noticed?
  16. Kepler is a good field, Julien is a lousy fielder, Kirilloff ?
  17. A lot can happen in the future; he is playing this game, not being paranoid about what may be some day.
  18. If Wallner was good enough for the majors he would be up; he may earn his way up, or he may not.
  19. I disagree with your point of view, simple as that.
  20. When a team has become a sub-five hundred team, with the next team within spitting distance, you do not use your team as a quasi-AAA substitute.
  21. Wishful thinking that the Twins rookies/quasi-rookies have shown to be just that. Miranda and Wallner are a couple of Lurches in fielding skills, while none of the gents up from AAA have shown to be more than at best barely average fielders. Solano, Taylor and Castro have been far more important than any from Twins AAA.
  22. If Billy Martin were manager, and the Twins played like this, you would probably see a lot of players with black-eyes.😬
  23. If Arraez was still here, his average may still be the same but the large number of RBI he has now would not exist as some one has to be on base to get those. So losing him has zip to do with the Twins failures, plus his fielding would make the situation worse.
