    Not a great game , i almost didn't finish watching the game when Orze walked the second and third batters of the inning and rogers allowed 2 runs to score , we need pitchers in close games that doesn't walk batters ... Lee getting picked off third was a blunder ... Both teams played poorly but twins managed to match the score everytime Cleveland scored and prevailed in a walk off win ... Cleveland pitchers walked a bunch of twins hitters , walks will haunt ... Nice game winning hit by roden , sure wish fedko could get a hit before he is demoted ... Last years deadline : to bad Falvey and company couldn't see into the future and not traded off all that pitching , it wasn't the players that was lacking talent , it was the manager ( baldelli ) that was lacking talent , he couldn't unlock the talent of his players at the major league level ... the team is fun to watch and grinding away and finding ways to win ... It is possible that the manager is responsible for the wins and losses , I'll take shelton any day of the week over baldelli ...

    Cleveland announcers say Prielipp might of aggravated his shoulder, trainers were working on his shoulder and Adam's was warming up rather quickly ... Hope there wrong ...

    With a almost 15% walk rate , I'd say he's got refinements to do at AAA , no i don't think he will get promoted post deadline ...

    Draft ... Good read sam ... What i have seen in the past is that other organizations have selected players after the twins have selected in the first round that have made their MLB debut either the same year or next and succeeded , it's hard to do but can be done ... It's hard to swallow when teams get better players ( mlb ready ) in the first round after twins selection , Angel's Neto , Arizona's Carroll and some pitchers that go to bullpen and next year are premium starters the next year are some ... Did falvey hire the best professionals ( his words not mine ) when he changed personal and cleaned house in the organization when he took over ...

    Can we get to 500 , it would exceed everyone's preseason expections at this point in the season ... Twins out played the Cleveland team , Cleveland had some sloppy defense that helped ... What kind of a winning streak can we get on without the contributions of Buxton ... Allstar game coming up , 500 would look nice ...

    You've been taken lessons from Peter , Peter is the extreme optimist that nobody can top , keep trying though maybe we can have a poll at the end of the season on who is or was the most optimistic fan ... I know it won't be me unless we get a 10 or more winning streak...

    Caratini has done his job very well since jeffers injury ... If I remember correctly he did start out the season hot with the bat , and fizzled out towards the end of April into May , he played more firstbase and filled in at catcher until jeffers injury .. Hitting seemed to be contagious in June as the lineup has been surprisingly good ... I hope you didn't jinx caratini with this article ...

    The team played very well on the road trip , nobody expect we would win a series in Yankee stadium ... Let keep the exciting games a coming , all we need is consistent starting pitching , a bullpen with grit , hitting and defense and we just might be a 500 club by allstar game ...

    I'm out of here , all this crap on freedom of speech and were missing the message here ... THE TWINS ARE WINNING IN NEW YORK AND THE BOOBIRDS ARE OUT ... YOU HAVE TO BE HALF CRAZY TO TALK ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN THIS GAME ... a series win is possible and the boobirds will be very load at the end of the game if twins win ...

    Good battle to get a mistake pitch to hit for a rbi , I can't believe it when some believe a rbi doesn't matter , yes it's just a stat but it helps win a game ...

    Seems like they are trying to keep him healthy so he can start in the allstar game which means crap to our team , every year he's banged up around the allstar game , he played a few years ago in allstar game when he shouldn't and immediately put on the IL list , think it was his knee that was the injury ... As far as the game , the twins never had a chance and the Yankees needed to pounce on the twins to end their 7 game losing streak ..,

    Bell is a streaky hitter , he has had good first halves or good second halves , let's just hope he maintains in the second half and helps us win games ... Unless of course he is traded , he likes it here so he says , that in it's self can produce good results for a player ...

    I'm not jumping to any conclusions until the deadline has passed ... The twins still haven't proved anything yet with consistency from the bullpen ...
