Rojas comes in , BUT HE DIDN'T WALK THE FIRST BATTER , he got to quick outs and then walks 2 in arow , walks will haunt with a single to follow ... Shutout , not today ... -
How can the twins players be in rapid decline when there is no consistency from wallner ( he's strikeout prone ) , lewis ( can't seem to get his swing right ) , Outman ( cant play defense or hit ) , keaschall ( cant seem to find his MOJO from last year and occasional blunder at defense ) , bell and caratini ( bats have mostly cooled since hot start ) and clemens ( borderline streaky )... Buxton , Lee, Martin , larnach , jeffers and gray ( trying to lead the team ) ... We had a 3 game winning streak , now we have none , it's always a do over , nobody wants to break a winning streak but SWR is not performing well and we are losing in games started by him , we were all expecting Ober to be the weak link in starting rotation ...

Yah , it's seems like a waste , buxton seems to thrive leading off a game but it's not helping him towards an incentive on his contract for being in the top ten in MVP voting , last year he was 11th in voting so missed out on extra money ...

Tampa Bay has needed a mainstay catcher for quite sometime , Tampa will draft Georgia tech catcher Vahn Lackey ... You heard it here first sports fans ... Who the Twins will draft is anyone's guess , do they go with the best available talent at #3 or work out a deal with someone that is ranked around the top 10 for lesser money to be taken #3 ...

Ober treated us to a nice pitching performance , congratulations on the complete 9 inning 2 hit shutout ... It's a rarity in the game today for a pitcher to get a complete game , he only needs 59 more shutouts to match Blyleven ... Hope we see more pitching gems like this ... Shelton seems to have the right formula in using the right players lately , we now have a 3 game winning streak ... Bell and caratini started out good but are regressing, they need to step it up a notch , we need consistency not streakyness ... Lets make it 4 tomorrow ...

Shelton is starting to use the right players , the formula is working , 3 game winning streak ... Peter has tto be proud -
If we brought him now and he stayed on the team all year , he would then move into the super two class of arbitration , that's four arbitration years instead of three ... You think the organization wants 4 arbitration years , NO It's all about days accumulated mlb time for super two , maybe June or July call up would keep him from super two ... That's the best i can explain it as I'm having lunch ... Savvy ...

Give him alittle more development time and hope he heats up ... His defense would be a plus right now but the bat needs to tick up a notch or 2 ... He has showed good promise so far but has he earned a promotion after 34 games in AAA , and the twins are control freaks at manipulating service time ...
