    I get the angst, but in terms of Afghanistan, this isn't all that different than droning the hell out of the place in secrecy. Hell, at least this is out there in the open.

    I agree, if you strain you can find some stuff. And I am looking forward to Wonder Woman. And at the same time dreading whatever way they Martha that movie. (I've started to use "Martha" as a verb now to describe something done in an inextricably, shockingly stupid way. In honor of BvS)

    I'd add to the negatives this: I never saw the tough, Thibs-like defense. I expected that to take time, but it never manifested. That worries me a bit.

    Well, I try not to get hung up on the mike vs. jimmy thing. Hell, if I did that, I'd argue Better Call Saul probably peaked with that incredible episode with Mike talking about his son. They almost can't be better than that. I appreciate the arcs independently and use my enjoyment of both to establish my appreciation for the show as a whole.

    Those were some insulting and stupid comments. The apology though? That's the surprising part. That was the first time I've seen that man say something genuine.

    Two versatile defenders at the 3 and 4. That's what this team needs.

    I'm going to need to see this rotation gone through a few times before I have an increase in confidence about the team's chances.

    As good as the outfield defense has looked, the infield defense has been pretty good too. We just need them to be competent and they've more than done that so far.

    I wouldn't expect domination in the NHL playoffs. That's not common.

    Not every attempt at a bunt is called from the dugout.

    I think this speaks to the investment and priority placed on these things by the VP/GM. It's a lot easier to use analytics tools when they are made available and there is buy-in from the whole organization.

    Same. So far we have some evidence that many of the criticisms had more to do with Ryan than Molitor, which was my argument all along.
