  1. You can sip if you want, but you gotta be quick.
  2. So f'in done with this stat. Let me know when they add field hit to the mix. I miss word filters.
  3. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2023/07/cardinals-trade-rumors-dylan-carlson-tyler-oneill.html Then there’s this. I lived in Cardinals country for most of O’Neills time there and they do really like him. If they are more keen to trade Carlson I’d be curious what it would cost.
  4. 1300 ML at bats over 6 years at a .776 OPS including a full season at .912. He's on a pension track already. At the prices for each I'd give O'Neill a swing.
  5. Not a horrible get away day lineup though, tbh.
  6. I'm reliably informed that Mr 8 for 8 doesn't need protection.
  7. Lee won't be in this mix, no reason to make a 40 man move when you already have this log jam. Much more clarity will come from the deadline. This conversation is one that unfortunately usually takes care of itself. With the deadline and Sept 1st as important dates they will most likely be able to use a combination of rehabs and other injuries to sort it out. Lewis might still be a month away, Wallner will go back down for Polo and Rocco will find places for Julien to play. We shouldn't be conflating the rest of this season plans with next year plans though, Two different conversations.
  8. It would be awfully expensive. O'Neill has been terrible but could be had for a comparable song. He's also the player type that can get white hot for a stretch. I'd want to see that he actually came back healthy though.
  9. Brent Rooker is on pace for 26.4 homers. A's on pace for 44.6 wins. We also officially have a situation in KC. Bobby Witt is on pace for 26.7 homers. Royals on pace for 46.76 wins.
  10. Yes but he has a pull gear that he hasn't engaged yet.
  11. Doing his best Gallo impersonation tonight.
  12. With the lineup looking good the spot is sure to come up. A month ago it would never make it. If they can bat around who cares?
  13. It certainly could have played a role. You pull him for defense anyway. The right move doesn't always work out.
  14. But I would think it would hit high off the wall? There just aren't many places you can catch one at 423 ft anymore.
  15. That home run was only a 0.950 xBa. Are they trying to tell me that is caught 5% of the time?
  16. If you had to pick three months to be hot I'd rather start now.
  17. 1.000+ OPS can make any glove look good.
  18. Right about now MarinersDaily probably sounds a lot like Twins Daily usually does. "Two bleeping days in a row we can't hit 92!? DFA erybody!"
