  1. Gerrit Cole was a star in Pittsburgh. He was one of the best pitchers in baseball. He was traded to Houston or he was walking in free agency for Musgrove. Musgrove and Glasnow both had electric stuff but were often injured. Keller Jones and Skenes won't be there long either.
  2. Saw that too. Chalk it up to spell check. Maybe. 😄
  3. According to the umpire, YES. And since you insinuated that I never played. The strike zone is usually established early. So if it's close, you better be swinging. I know it sucks. But that's the way it is. And I'll acknowledge that 2-1 vs 1-2 or any favorable count for the pitcher increases the difficulty for the hitter. You deal with it. If the calls are totally lopsided. Favoring one team. Then again I'll acknowledge that it would be problematic
  4. Keep looking at that rectangular box that is just an approximation and crying about it.
  5. Did Lewis swing and miss on a ball in his eyes influence the Twins ability to score?
  6. And that call was immediately after the one called a ball that the Bucs bench was barking about. We don't need no stinking robo umps!
  7. So they're not fair. That means they want the Pirates to win. Maybe got some cash on it
  8. Look every game it's the same thing. Umpires this, umpires that. If Keplers eye is so great, why did he swing at a pitch that literally HIT HIM?
  9. They've developed good pitching. They just couldn't pay them.
  10. Tom Hardy? Mel Gibson? Max Baer? Max Schmelling?
  11. Every clubs broadcasters do that. Don't they?
  12. I think the miss Jones too. He's been good as well. ACE like
  13. No big deal. Cleveland will fold. Nothing to worry about.
  14. You play the schedule. Cleveland has won every game vs Twins. The Twins are in 3rd. Behind TWO teams not just Cleveland. KC and Cleveland both have better starting pitching. Cleveland hits well and runs well putting pressure on the defense. Plus they have Clase. Ask yourself. What Twin starts in the Cleveland lineup. Lewis isn't replacing Ramirez. Correa probably. Who else? Kepler in rf. Buxton. Maybe. Rose colored glasses.
  15. To rub salt in the wound. The Yankees got 2 no calls yesterday and today. Yesterday Soto should have been called out at first for making contact with Miranda on the pop-up to 1st. Judge was clearly inside the line on the sac fly. Jeffers was giving Judge a clear lane and he could have done a better job. But Judge initiated that contact. Sour grapes for sure. But Boone would blow a gasket if the roles were reversed.
  16. On a ball where Soto was playing on the infield dirt
  17. So this is whats needed to let them Yankees know that these Twins won't be pushed around anymore. How about that!
  18. Why wouldnt Rocco play Lewis 2 days in a row? If he's cleared to play, is the plan to ease him back? He might not be at 3rd. But I would expect him to at least dh. Especially with a Lefty going on Wednesday
  19. If some one put it on the internet. Its gospel.
  20. Explain. Why can't Cleveland maintain this pace? Lost Bieber early and still doing it. Lost Kwan who was killing and continued winning. Best closer in baseball. And they don't have Vasquez, Farmer, Margot type hitters getting a lot of AB like the Twins. I think the Guardians win the division going away. That's fine. The Twins just need to stay healthy and a wild card spot is there.
  21. So if Jeffers pitch calling leads to 3 runs today. Does Vasquez take it on the chin for 5 runs yesterday? No but he gets praised for throwing out 2 runners. Oh and his GIDP when they were trying to come back. You can pick every player apart. After every game. What did Buxton do today? His catch in CF wasn't all that difficult. Alvarez play in LF was better. Where were Castro and Kepler today? And I'm not a big Jeffers fan. But to call him out for The Bad??? Thielbar too. Alvarez when he goes hot. No one gets him out.
