  1. Just saw that! What idiots. If they hadn't fabricated this story nobody would have heard anything about this altercation. Idiots. They deserve to be embarrassed about this. Where was the sober friend? It's a known rule, whenever in a dangerous foreign area, to have a semi sober friend to keep everyone safe. Especially if you have to play "real or not real."
  2. We need an updated scoring report from the outside. He has to be turning some heads nationally. That k rate is awesome, i was expecting it to fall a little, but it seems like it's getting better.
  3. I really hope they keep it up. The denying and doubling down is going to bleed votes until the election. I just don't understand how so many people can fall in line for this fiasco. It's disheartening too know we have that many millions of Americans willing to vote for that. Although, the numbers are dropping, so i won't lose faith yet.
  4. I am going to thoroughly enjoy watching that train wreck. I mean, not enjoy? Either way, it will be satisfying. The further trump sinks, the more the gop loathes him, and the more they prove unable to use common sense. It amuses me to a great extent listening to them fumble through interviews when asked questions about support for trump. Absolute cowards.
  5. Are you insinuating front office people actually do their jobs? Blasphemy!
  6. Wait, are those your legs? We should be better friends.
  7. I'm glad you see the snark in each aspect, if I posted more, you'd probably have inferred that. He will be fine, though. He is a young player getting his first big league experience. This is why many wanted him up get a taste lat season. The learning curve is steep, and it not every player steps in and adjusts right away. Again, he will be fine, once he settles down and gets comfortable. It would be nice if the twins jumped out to a big lead for him one if these days.
  8. I agree with that take and I've barely watched any of the coverage.
  9. Compelling argument... Send him back down!
  10. Would hildenburger be a candidate for the afl? I have my fingers crossed he is healthy by then, would be a good sign.
  11. Just kidding. He'll be fine.
  12. I had a great post toured out, and my ipad went stupid. Not a huge fan of this thing. I would run android based systems any day over ios. Anyway, my point was that millennial voters are how Obama won each election. The gop thought they had it in the bag, as bush only lost the young person vote by 10 points. Obama won it by 24 in each election, and i don't expect the margin to be any closer this time. This is going to be a fun election to analyze. The shrinking rate of evangelicals and the rising rate of millennials in the electorate make this exciting to see how it plays out.
  13. Which thread was that? I missed it if jack was on here again. I enjoy reading his pays, but wish we could go out for beers sometime and get the off the record conversations.
  14. I voted for McCain. He didn't have the charisma that Obama did. Felt almost like Nixon v Kennedy. He pulled that microphone away from that crazy ass as fast as he could.
  15. How is making a joke about that ok? Honestly, what the ****? What a disgusting human. Just when I think gee can't get any lower, there he goes.
  16. Great idea for me as well. Once i have the capital and no more student loans (I'll be dead right....) I plan to start investing a little. I'm a straight math major, so i would die for some deep analytical theory on stocks. If i could do it over again, that would be my career choice.
  17. I live in rural Iowa and believe me, there are plenty of trump supporters. It's still early, and those numbers mean very little right now. This race will tighten up. Trump may be an idiot, but the last few days has shown he can learn and adjust. While i have confidence Clinton will win the debates, trump will be much more nasty and even in losing will still get the media attention. The thing that amazes me is over half the country believe Hillary Clinton is pure evil. A good portion of the population still watches fox news and listens to rush Limbaugh. They will forgive and forget for trump before they vote Clinton. That voter base doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt until they start sowing it by not electing Michelle Bachmann type candidates.
  18. If i was betting Brock, I'd very that trump gets blown out and losses by more than anyone in history. I also would have bet against him winning the gop nomination. I just don't think anyone should feel comfortable as long as he is on the ticket.
  19. Why can't i edit on my stupid ipad? So frustrating.
  20. Levi I'm with on not counting on it being over until it's over. I still think it should be a monumental blow out, but that doesn't mean out will be. I can see Clinton voters becoming complacent and not making it out to vote because it was inconvenient and Clinton is ahead by so much it's a sure thing. I almost don't think it can worse for trump.... but I'm sadisticly hoping it does.
  21. You might be the only one on that bus John. I don't get it. One of these times he's got to click right? Right?
  22. I've been grateful to watch mauer hit like the mauer of years past. However, he's been bad for so long, that I'm still skeptical as well. You all keep referencing his past, but things change and the player he's been the past couple years isn't an .800 ops guy. Perhaps he benefits more when guys are on base and opposing teams are unable to shift on him?
  23. I think it's exactly the elitism, and continually being overlooked. In the Midwest we have do much opportunity, this segment of people isn't as significant. However, many places are not nearly as nice, and it is difficult for some being brought up in different circumstances to relate to their problems (big reason Romney lost the election). They don't trust government because government doesn't work for them. They blame the other lazy people on food stamps that should be able to get better jobs. No GED, few problems with the law, and now they are in the system, just like inner city blacks but nobody is trying to stick up for them. You're right about them not going away. If anything, this portion if the population is going to grow with wealth inequality. The cracks are beginning to show with this trump movement (flux pavilion dig, in case anyone is into that). I also know Clinton is not the right person to fix this. Hopefully the gop can funnel better candidates than Ted Cruz to the front, otherwise someone worse than even trump might take advantage (philippines recent election as an example). Is it just a matter of time before history repeats itself?

  25. Maybe he needs Joboo?
