  1. Levi I'm interested in what you believe is proving to be folly. I haven't taken a huge interest in all foreign politics and policy. I've an idea on certain matters, but haven't studied it at any depth. My new job has changed that a lot. It's a much more global perspective. Decisions over seas affect new a lot more now so I've been leasing more about the political and economic structures abroad.
  2. The EU is done for. Germany has nothing to gain by staying in it now. If they leave, there is no EU. Looks like Europe will be ripe for the taking. Who invades them first, US, Russia, China or isis?
  3. Go get healthy perk. Hopefully next year will have a bit better roster construction with different results.
  4. Knew it. Over/under 6 runs in 4 innings.
  5. The team with the worst record in the MLB is concerned with waivers? Seriously?
  6. You can't force people to ignore history, or not draw correlations. The pick didn't turn out, so it was a failed pick. Many, including me, hated the pick. Say whatever you want about twins drafts, but they have been terrible for a long time.
  7. Like you said, I anticipate things to get worse before they get better.
  8. A few more starts? Are you serious? Give Wheeler a shot at least. Duffey is a train wreck right now.
  9. There is no way he gets another start... right?
  10. There were 4 bills voted on. All failed due to pork if I'm not mistaken. Pity they couldn't just put together a clean bill with bipartisan support. Maybe tomorrow?
  11. Kepler is up to stay. That kid has amazing hands and great control of the zone. I almost bet he makes an all-star team before Buxton or sano.
  12. A .700 ops is optimistic. Guys like Buxton, that have a load of talent and destroy the minors have trouble in the mlb. Defense is his best shot. Play great defense, hit a little, and he'll get some time in the show. College players should destroy the low minors, not have ok seasons.
  13. I would have got behind wheeler. I think his chance is coming. Milone pitching well is the best anyone can hope for. I mean, he's about a lock for a rotation spot next year.
  14. Dean is nothing like Berrios. He is a aaaa pitcher at best.
  15. Yeah it's tough to get excited about garver. He might have a future in the MLB, but I'd hardly consider him a cornerstone piece.
  16. See, I've already heard him talk enough. I think people need a different option. Listening to Gary Johnson will bring the Kasich crowd in. There is a significant percent of republicans that will never vote trump. This is a great chance for the libertarian party to rise up. We'll see if they have the savvy.
  17. I also don't think he wants the vp. Clinton has a better shot adding someone that helps her demographic. Sanders will help unify the party eventually, Clinton can also do that by adopting some of his agenda. I will be pretty surprised if this race is with 10 percent. Especially since Gary Johnson is polling at 9 percent and might be enough to get in the debates. Like i said before, adding him to debates will be the best way to stick it to trump.
  18. Too bad for Perkins. He's a great dude, and had a pretty good run. Hopefully he can come back and contribute in some capacity. Shoulder injuries are hard. I shared a locker room with him at the u, so I have always wished him the best.
  19. Wow. That is a pretty big deal. The criticism if Obama is whatever. The entire nation wanted a pullback and he was criticized for staying too long. Now he's criticized for saying too short. I'd it was a Republican the other side would be doing it so whatever. It's all hindsight.
  20. Not all will make it. The timeframe is advantageous for these guys too. A lot of radiation space will be available in a few years. The only guy that should have a cement spot is Berrios. If they all are successful, then the twins have a young, MLB ready arm to trade. Could be a big piece in putting together a team that can compete in the playoffs.
  21. I used to adopt Felix Jorge ing the adopt a prospect forum every year. I really like his fluid release and balance. It's effortless. I believe that is why he has been so consistent. If he ends up getting to AA this year and continues this success does he enter the national prospect radar? Do the twins have 5 starting pitchers worthy of top 100 status?
  22. Better question might be if it's possible for this team to be any worse?
  23. Thanks for the recap Seth. I've been a proponent of his from the signing. I hope he can continue to build on the success he is having. I look forward to a fresh scouting report this summer from caple or klaw.
  24. So what you're saying is you don't really have a plan, but don't want anything to change? Please tell me you aren't simply deferring all the shooting in America to the cost of freedom, because that is how it came across. Also, you shouldn't consider those of us who disagree with you all liberal, because we're not. A few are, but a good number of us disassociated with the gop years ago. We've been battling about policy for over a decade now. I'm glad you've joined the conversion. It's fun to have different viewpoints.
