    Problem is it would need to be about 75 miles. I might try one just to see though.

    Finally got a roku stick, trying the sling trial. Biggest problem is lack of local news. I could get an antenna, but not sure if it could reach far enough. Any tips for content out there? I know we've had a few of these threads, so provide some input for a noob.

    That's nice. Previous 5 FIP- 16.62 K/BB- 5 K%-BB%= 16% K%- 20% K/9- 13.5 Hard hit- 47.5% His recent outings have been fine. Perhaps he was going through something? Hopefully he can turn the page and get a shot in the rotation before the year is up.

    It doesn't look like he's comfortable yet. As long as he plays everyday, and gets more exposure to the MLB, this is a good move. Remember, it isn't only about adjusting on the field, it is adjusting to the lifestyle as well. He is a young kid with a ton of talent and expectations. All it will take is a few good games IMO.

    The question now is how many starts did Dean earn with the initial success? I say 2 more like this and the gig is up. I wish May was pitching better.

    Jay is really pitching well right now. At some point the twins need to make room for him, gonsalves, and jorge! Good problem to have, can't remember the last time 4 sp at a certain level were dominating.

    The only way he learns to hit mlb pitching is in the mlb. I don't think they were ready to call him up either, but injuries happen. Who do you all suppose was going to play cf? This is a no brainer. The kid is talented. You send him down looking for a response, and he hits like a machine. You can't have it both ways, either you are for young guys playing through struggles or you're not. If he is over matched again they can send him down. I'm just hoping he rides this hot streak into Minneapolis. Let the haters hate and show um up!

    Plain and simple, if he refuses going to AAA he can be considered a free agent. The twins must still pay his contract. This happened with Bret Boone years ago if i remember correctly. If they lost patience with millone, how the hells bells is Ricky stl in the rotation?

    Very nice to see Buxton continuing to do well. It is only a matter of time until he puts it together with the twins.

    Who wants that? Honestly? With how bad this team has been, how many poor decisions they've made... I don't want to listen to that when i watch a game. I have twins daily for that. I try to even keep the negativity on here to a minimum. It's too easy to rip apart this team and organization. They are apart of the twins media machine, always will be. If you want objective criticism read one of the many internet based outlets covering baseball.

    Big smile is a requirement to hit first. Mauer wasn't smiling enough, that's why he was dropped. This lineup looks good for some runs,i say about 4 of them.

    I love this thread for a number of reasons: We're setting records for allowable snark in a thread. Taking Terry Ryan's comment to the extreme. The fact we are so fed up with how this team is run, we're all convinced rex grossman will be a starter in 2017 based on 2 games.

    I don't understand the hate for dickbert. They are great commentators. Listen to other broadcasts sometime, makes you want to shoot the tv. I can't stand listening to some other teams ( white Sox). Call it sugar coating, homerism, whatever. I call it being an employee. Just because they don't bitch and criticize the whole night they are homers? Seriously. If they wanted to, it would be 3 hours if complaining. Frankly i get enough complaining from my 7 year old girl and wife. They have a hard job. Not only have the twins been one of (maybe the?) worst teams in MLB the last 5 years, but were mediocre the previous ten (blyleven used to throw out grievances about pitch counts and other philosophy disagreements).

    My wife tells me all the time: if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything.... Which is why I've tried not to post for the past 5 seasons.

    Plouffe better bring back more. He's proven a whole lot more than Nunez has. Teams know what they are getting with plouffe, not so much with Nunez. Id day plouffe brings back a top 100 prospect. MLB regulars don't grow on trees.

    I don't believe him to be a world-beater, but he is solid. You can't have an entire rotation full of variables, its necessary to have a constant. He could be a trade asset at some point to. You don't put a guy like him in the pen. Bad for business.

    Not only that... but he is the one whom displaced May in the rotation.

    I thought Gordon was supposed to be the better SS long-term? This "lost year" is soon going to turn into a "lost decade."
