    Muncy is hot and cold. He had a really poor season last year. But hit some homers. He was an Oakland failure, and the Dodgers signed him as a minor league free agent in 2017, and he got good! 2018, 2019 great. 2020 never got heated up, but crushed in the World Series. 2021 crushed. 18,19,21 -- 35,35,36 homers. 2022 streaky mostly down year. This year, a really hot streak in the middle of a horrible start and slump --- until today, and getting Lopez meatballs.

    Well, as Bill Parcells said, "You are what your record says you are." Probably true. The rest is just opinion. Lopez is about a 4.00 ERA career pitcher. Including this season. If that is a really good pitcher, then he is a really good pitcher. This year, he has 6 good starts, and 3 pretty poor.

    We need a catcher like Will Smith. Other than Garver, who they always (including the TD prognosticators) rated below Turner, and of course Mauer, me don't grow them on the farm. Dodgers have another one in the works, too, their #1 prospect, 21, now in AA, Diego Cartaya.
