    And the Yankees say that is why we traded him. Ha. I didn't write Yankees. I wrote my favorite nickname for them that starts with a Sk in stead of a y, and the site changed it as it posted. Funny. Try it. No ****. Just politely wouldn't let me do it.

    I was at a game in Dodger stadium with the Twins up late, and Granite threw the ball to first base from the outfield, and there was nobody there!

    I still didn't do the research myself. Just too lazy. Now I don't know what to believe. But in the end, I am one that loves a guy with a lot of RBI. Always. Sure you have to be lucky to get the opportunities, but if you have high RBI, you stepped up when you got them.

    The sad thing is that Hamilton is on the team for one and only reason, and today it was to score in the 10th on a single to right..... and he was not available when needed.

    I think that Rosario knocked in more runs. And that was in itself, very valuable. As for the strawman Trout in this question, who is superior? Some may be for a spell, but seriously....... that is a hell of a strawman. But you didn't ask me......

    How about at least 2 a year. That would be my bar. I mean, developer of pitchers doesn't mean they just get to play because they have done such a horrible job that even Dobnak is given the opportunity because you have no others! "developer of pitchers" means not just a placeholder gets the ball, but very good pitchers in excess. And aces you lose to FA because they were developed and great.

    Hey! Late in the season? We haven't been at .500 since April 25th!

    Call me Mr Expectation, but I just hoped he would continue his season and perform as he did in the first 4 months. I highly doubted it, as I was aware of his 2015 to 2021 horridness, but that was all mostly as a starter. They gave up 4 pitchers (that I bet most can't name without looking it up, and probably even one of them, and I could only remember one, and only one of them had any innings in the Show) for a guy that has a pretty small sample size as a reliever. He would have been in finding employment in Japan or Korea or in the minors if he had not had good luck coming out of the pen. I think Baltimore knew it was smoke and mirrors, and fleeced the desparate Twins, and we will see even worse in the coming years. Maybe we will get lucky. But it is not looking great so far. Goes to show you how ridiculous the All-Star selections can be. 3 months going into the game and he didn't suck finally and was very good in the new role, and all the sudden Lopez (and Martin Perez, ha!) was an All-Star? I read that Buxton and Correa wanted him. Hmmmmm. But I am surely on the disappointed list. We needed help, and I welcomed it. Too much paganish like hype, and too often similar results....... but ooooooooo, that stuff..............

    2020 season. 2 months. Real hard for me to use 2020 for anything except nothing compares to it and it was just 2 months. I guess you could compare it to a good 2 month streak in any season........ I would call 2021 for Maeda the worst of his career, not solid. Solid if you like very mediocre hinging on bad. Look at the numbers in 2021.

    Let me try some subsitutions here..... Is Mahle going to help us in the playoffs this year? (no) Is Mahle guaranteed to be a major league producer beyond this year? (no) Are Steer or Encarnacion-Strand guaranteed to never be a decent major league player in the future? (no) Hey..... it works both ways!
