    I would think a start against San Diego would mean very little. If a younger long term guy is ready there is nothing lost by dumping Correia. His trade value is about zero, imo.

    Justin and his family live in Arizona in the winter, at least for the last several years. No one can blame him for that. I made the comment opening day I didn't think Joe looked right and got soundly browbeaten by the Mauer loyalists. Will he ever be the same, probably not but maybe he could get close.

    It is rumored that while in NY the Twins brass will petition Bud to issue an edict preventing all teams from using any kind of shift while Joe is batting. It seems that the team feels that using all these new fangled things like stats, shifts and other crazy stuff, they don't understand, is just not fair to us country bumpkins.

    We really should stop complaining about Gardy. He will be the manager as long as he wants. We can point to the end on the 2023 season when he will turn 66 at which time he can collect full social security. That will likely be the first chance we see a new manager.

    6. Think about those of us, Yogi Berra included, that use both our left and right hands about equally. I think Yogi called this being amphibious, which confused me because I could never swim well not knowing if I should swim left-handed or right-handed.

    Something to think about Joe Mauer is listed at 44.6 war tied with Chuck Knoblauch for 386. Thatreally surprised me.

    Parmalee is 2-34 over the last 10 games. Looks like his bubble has burst again and he is not a major league quality outfielder, imo.

    I think they need to extend Kubel, Colabello and Corriea first and maybe Willingham.

    Doubt this will save Hicksie, it may be a good idea for Hick to call Slowsie about the Sisyphean task ahead to climb out of the Gardy dog house.
