  1. Where'd you get the pic of Brian and Chief?
  2. ...Plouffe hits into a double play. Twins baseball at its best.
  3. Better to be embarrassed by a fan rather than the team on the field I guess.
  4. I was sent to the corner late last season and nobody has told me I can come out yet! The moderators can be real..... never mind or I'll never get out.
  5. With a little luck we can break the team record for k's in a season. It's always good to have goals!
  6. Can someone give this to Bert?
  7. The world in getting so confusing!
  8. Really 23 degrees in Tampa? Wind chill must be close to 0.
  9. How many games have you seen May pitch in person?
  10. Gibson just can't handle the windy conditions tonight.
  11. http://www.thoughtrot.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Miami-Real-Esate-The-Price-is-Right.jpg
  12. I think Worley had trouble in the wind maybe its getting to Gibson?
  13. "The Big Bang Theory -- According to research... Only 21 percent of all Americans believe that the Earth was created by a Big Bang many billions of years ago....." ...Brian...Brian...Brian is this also where bunnies come from?
  14. Odd that you'd get that much wind in the dome.
  15. I can remember exploring the park during the game. You could go about anywhere under the bleachers from deck to deck and no one bothered you. I'm not sure today many parents would let their kids wander around a ball park. The thing I remember most is it felt like a big league park and that was special. When the Millers played there it just felt like a bigger baseball field, at least to me. I got to go to the 3rd game on a Sunday against the Senators. Can't really remember anything about the game but being there at a big league game.
  16. watch out! http://www.picturesof.net/_images_300/Black_Boy_Poking_a_Stick_At_a_Wasp_Nest_Royalty_Free_Clipart_Picture_100227-002618-880042.jpg
  17. Imo the proper nickname is the same as the car! http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/troilus09/pics%202/garys1930duesenberg.jpg
  18. 6. think about that favorite Bartlett memory from this season. Think fast or it will be gone!
  19. Brian I hope you keep the lipstick in a warm place or it could freeze up. Actually keep everything in a warm place.
  20. 6. something to think about; The Twins have sucked for 3 years. Fans have been forced to watch bad baseball more often than not when they buy tickets. Would it have been so hard for the Pohlads to say we'll do a real double header you can watch both games with your tickets and you can use the Wed. ticket for a credit on a future ticket. Isn't this taking cheap to a new level? I can understand it in a pennant race when you might get 30-35k in the seats but really does everything have to be about how much money they can suck out of the fans?? Kind of sorry about the rant!
  21. Keep Nunez up for a few weeks, send Pedro down to work on his hitting with a little less pressure on him and maybe even teach him how to bunt. In two-three weeks decide which way to go. Side note: kind of hard to use base running as a plus for a guy like Pedro that never gets on base. I think the saying is "you can't steal first base."
  22. Toronto is ready they are used to cold weather. http://media.timeout.com/images/resizeBestFit/100227073/660/370/image.jpg
  23. One good thing is they didn't rush to give him a Blackburn like extension after the 2012 season.
  24. A well known SS in these parts with a career slash line much like Pedro with: .232/.277/.296/.573 ops+ 62 Pedro: .212/.273/.314/.587 ops+ 63 A guess? Our beloved manager Gardy! I would guess Padro is a little better fielder than Gardy was but I seriously doubt he battles his tail off like Gardy did. There is a list of comparable guys at BB Ref and one thing they have in common is they didn't last long, just like Gardy.
