It really doesn't matter what they do this year other than get ready for next year. Let the young guys play and give enough time to the better prospects to find out what you have.

Why would anyone want to double the pain of being a Twins fan?

Let's hope the new GM does a total overhaul of the pitching development in the minors.

I can't wait for Plouffe to get back that will fix things.

Duffy is a future ace right?

It will likely be 2019 before our future starting pitchers are hopefully ready to make this a serious contender. This team has Sano and Kepler that should for sure be on that team and a hope that Buxton and Rosario can find their way. Everyone else on this roster should be fair game for trading, imo.

I think a lot of people are trying to make a silk purse of a sow's ear with these guys. Two weeks ago Ryan was willing to part with Santana for a lower prospect to shed salary. Now they need a top prospect. This front office is still a mess and them doing anything of note this summer is highly unlikely, imo.

    7 left on not 18.

Hair gel on his hands makes it hard to get a good grip on the ball.

Yep having the worst record in the AL isn't nearly as bad as the worst record in both leagues. We are sooooo much better than them!

Kind of my point, 180 degrees from what Terry ever did when he had the chance.

What is Terry Ryan working for the Cubs now?
  14. Winston Smith
Since Ortiz left, the Twins have won 2 playoff games and Ortiz has won 3 World Series rings.

Funny, Smally said tonight that Dozier is a Gold Glove calber 2B.

Roy might need a lot of lipstick tonight.

Lenny Green was the first autograph I got as a kid when he came to town with the Twins Caravan?, not sure what it was called back then, the first year the Twins were in the TC. He really wasn't green so does he still count? http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/g5YAAOSwHjNV7zjR/s-l300.jpg

    Yes and No!

Ramirez cleared waivers so that process was started when Terry was still around and likely this was decided before he left. At this point it is non impact move of the Terry arranging deck chairs norm. Now if it leads to another bigger move that may be more telling of changes in MO.

    repercussions are drums right?
  21. Winston Smith
You mean the Twins losing 1-0 or did something else happen?
  22. Winston Smith
If some of these things don't happen by Aug. 1 it will be total system failure 2.0.
  23. Winston Smith
I'd give Ng a chance and chip in for a winter coat and mukluks.
  24. Winston Smith
I doubt that the guys we have to trade are worth much. Either not very good or bad contracts limit what will come back.
