  1. Shoulda, woulda, coulda. Angels had runners on 1st and 3rd with 0 outs twice and came away with 1 run. I would say the Angels losses in the last two games were far worse than the Twins loss today, but just personal opinion.
  2. Angels pitcher walked a .083 hitter on 5 pitches.
  3. I actually disagree. Angels blew more chances than the Twins did in this game. I don't know how you can call something a bad loss when you never had the lead.
  4. Selling low on a 25 year old Miguel Sano and extending a 31 year old Brian Dozier is exactly the opposite route I hope the front office goes.
  5. Dunch sounds like something that would send me rushing to the bathroom
  6. 2 game set against STL: Twins pitching 18 IP, 5H, 1 ER, 5 BB, 19 K and Berrios didn't pitch.
  7. Unsung hero this year. He has been absolute money.
  8. I was thinking we might see Rogers, he's pitched once ine last 10 days or so.
  9. What has gotten into EE since he was moved to the clean up role? Love it
  10. Besides the "10-12 day" Puerto Rico hangover, this team has been really good this season.
  11. I actually enjoy Torii in there, as long as he's not there everyday.
  12. Ah yes Gardy logic. I would just hate if it came up in game where the pitcher sacrificed with 1 out and put guys in scoring position with 2 outs and your lowest average hitting up there with a couple of men on. What are the chances of that happening though?
  13. I'm sure it's been covered in the 3 pages I haven't read yet, but, why is LoMo leading off?
  14. That swing by Grossman should be shown to anyone who has trouble going the other way. Text book on how to hit thru that giant hole. Edit: I forgot I am 20 mins behind
  15. Someone on Reddit did a breakdown of that inning, take a look: https://www.reddit.com/r/baseball/comments/8fbwb9/oc_anatomy_of_a_blown_save_fernando_rodney/
  16. That has to be the reasoning right? It's just downright evil to make a guy who hasn't started in almost 9 months to make his 1st start back against the Yanks and that lineup.
  17. Ah thanks, I must have missed that.
  18. Didn't Lamarre have to go back to AAA for a couple days?
  19. Sweet, Max is in the lineup. B Dozier 2B J Mauer 1B M Sano 3B E Rosario LF L Morrison DH E Escobar SS M Kepler CF R Grossman RF J Castro C
  20. Chris Taylor who hit .314/.400/.458 in the minors and broke out in the majors at age 26 after having success as a rookie at age 23? Not to mention Taylor also plays 2B and SS Lamarre is 29 and hit .266/.344/.376 in the minors. What do these guys have in common?
  21. Personally I think it would be a lot easier to get a hitter to hit the ball the other way than to bunt. Bunting, especially with a slugger who likely hasn't practiced.....ever, is so unnatural to your regular hitting approach. Standing at a completely different angle, opening yourself up and a 100% different motion . If you think hitting a major league slider was hard, now imagine trying to bunt it. Slapping or check swinging would in theory be a lot more natural and would generally cut down on the pop ups to the catcher and pitcher.
