  1. Albies is only 22 too. He's going to be a nightmare.
  2. You said the Twins punted the game by Schoop's AB there when Eddie did something almost exactly the same an inning before. I get the piling on Schoop, but I am just trying to be reasonable about it.
  3. Berrios has been pretty damn good over the last 2 months. Pleasac is throwing well today, but for the season his FIP is over 5. Once you start comparing 1 game sample sizes you are going to have a bad time.
  4. What about last inning when Eddie struck out on a pitch not even the catcher could get to? There have been some horrible AB's this game.
  5. On their roster or actually pitched like a shut down ace in the playoffs and world series? Kershaw certainly led the Dodgers rotation last year.....then went 0-2 in the World Series with an ERA near 8.
  6. Obviously I'd rather have one than not as well. I just hate the "we can't compete without one" attitude.
  7. Always like the strike out passed ball. C'mon Eddie!
  8. It's very good. I just hate seeing the "you can't compete in the playoffs unless you have a Kershaw-type ace" which I think is just false. Yes, an elite ace would be great to have, but you don't need that to compete.
  9. How many titles have the Dodgers won with Kershaw? It takes more than an ace to win in the playoffs.
  10. Would be nice to see any sign of life from the offense today.
  11. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. 3rd inning, down 4-0 with the bases loaded and zero outs. Blaming Rocco for anything right is just grasping at people to blame, IMO.
  12. They took 2/3 from Cleveland, split 2/2 with Oakland and 1/3 with the Yankees. Those are the only teams they have played with a winning record. A loss today puts their 4 series at 1-2-1 since the break. Not good, but that series comment since the break is kinda misleading
  13. Good bounce back inning for Perez, would be great to see some good AB's here
  14. Man, Fried 3 up, 3 strikeouts, not a great counter to those 3 runs fellas.
  15. Hopefully the bats came to play today
  16. Braves hitters aggressive , both HR's on the 1st pitch
  17. Red Wings were at home last night. It's what an 80 mile drive? I'm sure he's fine. Edit: I'm an idiot.
  18. Jose finished off the 5th strong and then struck 2 of the 3 batters out in the 6th, I don't have a problem with Rocco letting Berrios trying to finish off the inning, especially in a 5-0 game. Now pulling him after the balk and Acuna single....that's another story.
  19. Sano charged with the error? Hmmm... That's on CJ...imo.
  20. Ah yes the 96 Twins. Radke gave up a cool 40 HR that year, probably around the time he was in that video game commercial with a conga line of HR after HR against him. Twins big bopper that year? Swinging Marty Cordova with 16 long balls. All 5 Twins regular starters gave up 20+ HR.
