  1. Dick carrying some very serious water for TR and his deadline laziness (why make trades? Look at what happened to Oakland last year! If it aint broke, why fix it?)
  2. The head of that team is quite the looker as well.
  3. Switch games during the commericals!
  4. I thought that was gone, bring him in Hicks!
  5. Good job battling out of that by Santana, that is the biggest difference between him and Liriano, if Liriano makes that error, you are looking at a 12 run inning.
  6. Jesus Christ Dozier, you had all the time in the world there.
  7. I feel like people have been complaining a lot about Nick Gordon, I don't get it, his numbers look just fine IMO.
  8. I was actually shocked the Twins got Rosario in with Nunez, Escobar and Suzuki coming up.
  9. I can't see them trading Shields, all indications are that the Padres wanna take a run again next year. Interesting that Upton hasn't been moved though (not that I want him on the Twins anyways unless the price is super low) I would however take Shields in the heartbeat.
  10. Rosario also is a pretty damn good CF.
  11. I have a hard time faulting putting Perkins in, in that situation, but you are spot on correct, they should have just left May in for an inning or two at that point, or better yet, don't bring him in down 4 runs in the first place! Save your 2nd best RP option for something a little more high leverage.
  12. I'd say a prospect in the 18-25 range most likely with the Twins farm system.
  13. Let him close then! Perkins can go be the dominating 8th inning guy.
  14. Meh, I can't fault them for letting Gilmartin go. He wasn't going to be around regardless here.
  15. Actually many people had suggested Hawkins, so that isn't accurate. Papelbon certainly was an option, the Twins could have easily afforded him and wouldn't have had to give up much to get him. Benoit, K-Rod and more are just sitting there for the taking.
  16. What a ****ty looking lineup. Top 4 better get it done for the Twins today, and hopefully Santana can go 8 strong. I predict a 6-1 win. Sano 2-2 1 double, 1 HR 3 RBI 2 BB Mauer 2-3 2 RBI Dozier: 1-4 1 HR 1 RBI Hicks: 2-4 2 Runs Santana- 8 IP, 7 k, 4 H, 1 ER
  17. Nolasco could be traded, especially in a Reyes trade. Or he could be traded next season as well if he can actually be healthy. For all the grief we give Nolasco, he is actually a solid pitcher.
  18. If Ryan stands pat it is painfully clear that he just has way to much job security "He is our GM until he says he isn't" and that is a real shame, this team literally could be so so much better with a couple of trades that wouldn't cost much more than a PTBNL (AJ and Benoit) or heck even K-Rod.
  19. There aren't a whole lot of .900 OPS players (much less CF's) anyways, so I wouldn't get too hung up on that. Mid to high .800's makes him an all star.
  20. If Kansas City and the blue jays can be so aggressive there is zero reason why the twins can't.
  21. or maybe they are just good talented ball players? Molly hasn't really had Hicks back TBH, he just was the last one standing and took advantage thankfully.
  22. Hicks is playing awesome. But I don't get the comparison to Walker at all.
  23. The 2015 bullpen is Terry Ryan's worst mismanagement in his career, hopefully tonight helps push him towards actually fixing it.
