  1. With Erod, Jenkins and Rosario knocking on next years door, its never too soon. Lol
  2. Too early to look at next year but yes, it looks better!! The FO overplayed the safe route by doing the Margo trade. Lost a gold glove prospect for a rental log jamb. Dumb move. just bring up Lee now and if he can’t handle it, bring Julien back up. Stop losing MLB games because of your pride Rocco et al.
  3. It would be nice to have Lee on Barsity 🤣🍻
  4. By the time we play Cleveland, we will be a completely different team compared to when we couldn’t beat them earlier this season. We probably will be closer to winning a majority of head to head than getting swept by them. We need 1 the offense to step up and we need a rookie to make an impact just from a sports psychology standpoint. Red hot rookies make vets scared for their jobs. Its really just as simple as trying out Lee and Festa and if they both take that step, we can cruise to a central division championship by 5 games over Cleveland.
  5. Lee should be on the 40 man yesterday and sent to join the twins on their road trip. That fixes most of our issues immediately if he is the real deal. Feata is next up on the 40 man as soon as they find the easiest way to get him there.
  6. He will be on the 40 man roster because he has a shot at ubering across the river in ‘25. Its so awesome to see a kid like this make it to mlb!! 3 pitches and pounding the zone will get Nowlin to target field.
  7. The Twins will have 3 allstars this year. Lewis wont be one of them and that is just criminal. He has started his career in a legendary fashion. Legend will follow him.
  8. Its baseball. A game of failure. I will let Lewis off for throwing a dozen balls away instead of into the mit and a 1B’r all season long because he will still be 1.43 xrbsblablareplacent.com Lewis is priceless.
  9. Lee needs time at 2B on the same team as C4. He will learn waaaay more in MLB than AAA.
  10. The 6 yr deal would have incentives in it. It would have to be worth close to 25/30M max per year for him to sign it. I personally like contracts with a base+ incentives.
  11. I’d trade for Vlad if I could sign him to a 6yr $100M base contract. AK and Julien would be the price. They would both likely flourish in Toronto and Vlad could end up being our side of a big pappy type trade scenario. Everyone wins. Miranda and Vlad would be the 1B/DH regulars with Miranda available to fill in at 3b/2b. Lee would be called up to play every day at 2b. Our offense would be jumpstarted immediately. Probably 46-50wins after the allstar break.
  12. Can we trade Margo for Noah Miller? I hear he is finding his bat….
  13. It would be moronic to trade away our future stars. Falvey has issues but giving up guys on the cusp of the MLB show is not going to happen after he gave away CES and Steer.
  14. Its pretty simple to play Lee and 2nd and put Castro in LF. Martin can split time between CF and LF. All of the young guys can rotate to a certain level and Margo is worth at least a bag of balls to a team …somewhere…
  15. Can we skip a Pablo start and give Festa a spot start? While we are at it, DFA Jackson and bring up a kid that isn’t on the 40 man.
  16. Its a try to fix the phantom injured list in MiLB. It allows a team to monitor/restrict the innings played by anyone on the”list”. Its been around since 2021 and it will likely stick around because it does help with development and fix issues that young guys have in their journey to the show. Sometimes its as much of a mental fix as it is a physical one. In short. Just another tool box drawer to place an MiLB future star into while shaping his career.
  17. Only a few people were bigger doubters than I was about Castro and they were all in the Tigers org. I am amazed by him every game. He just might help in a walkoff tonight 🤷‍♂️
  18. Yes and a wasted option period. Im not sure how that all works but apparently it was important enough to rescind the assignment to AAA and classify AK on the MLB 10 day DL.
  19. Im super confused by the AK IL stint. He has been getting treatment for back pain for a month by team doctors. How did Baldelli and him not address that issue when they met about getting a AAA assignment? Doesn’t anyone know whats going on if a player is getting treatment and what the results of it are? Is it getting better/worse/same? Mind blown by the lack of communication.
  20. Big markets with more fans always get more fan votes. Thats why its not just about fan votes.
  21. If he continues to play well like his walkoff winner tonight, he will deserve to be an allstar!
  22. I would sell some top prospects if VG Jr. was willing to do a 5 year contract extension immediately. One can dream because ownership would never be on board. We can find cheap pitching options internally. If you could get J Montgomery for almost no assets. I would take that flier.
  23. The Cavaco and Sabato picks were head scratchers from the first moment. Back then I figured that people in the org had great intel that the general public didnt. I read more on the top 250 draft eligible players now than I used to, the intel that the org had back then was horrible. Those picks should never have been made. It doesn’t mean we would have had success with players (B) but at least it would have been something. The past few drafts, it seems that we have been dialed in on some potential greatness. Analytics seem to help in drafting potential but so should human drive and discipline. The kids need to have that extraordinary edge. Most dont have it at 18-21. The ones that “NEED” to find it should be high on the draft board. we wont always pick the right kids, but we are doing better at excluding the wrong ones.
  24. ‘24 pitching staff is by far better than most in the last 15+ years. Our youth movement has prime time talent and heart. If we are healthy in September, a deep playoff run is better than a 50/50 chance. Whether its 90 or 99 regular season wins, it wont really matter.
