  1. Caratini raises the floor. He makes the team a little better and may allow the FO to move on several other margjnal guys. Building the team back to relevance has to start somewhere.
  2. Seems like an upgrade! We have to assume there will be additional moves. Plenty of marginal talent to DFA.
  3. As much as I want to see a big crop of rookies in ‘26 & ‘27, we need professional AB’s and guys that can get big outs. ‘26 is going to be painful.
  4. 21 yo that had tj surgery 23 months ago. Slow the roll on the fast track train. Get him 70-90 innings in iowa and kansas at most this season.
  5. Interesting to bring up a “vaccine” that government forced into some humans, others bribed, just to keep their jobs VS. a free man is forced by MLB to not inject other things into his body just to play a game and get paid for it….
  6. That player development plan hasn’t worked out too well for the org. the past 30 years. The only prospect that I can remember being rushed was Cellestino and he still hasn’t found his bat. It makes no sense if a kid is crushing every pitcher in AA, and has defensive chops, to hold him back and not see what he has late in the season. This garbage of not bringing up a kid before age 22 is just nonsense.
  7. Dude might be a 19 yo mlb late season call up. Alot of development this season and we could see someone really special!
  8. Some of the best ball ever was Sosa vs. Mcquire. No one cares about peds.
  9. @bean5302 Its a safe bet to believe Lee is going to be a solid MLB backup role player. He is slow so he better hit the ball far and often. Who would you like to be the opening day SS? Lee or Arcia?
  10. The offseason is always loaded with ifs and hopes. This offseason especially because of selling the bullpen off. So far the FO has done little to get and MLB vet RP to sign. Everyone here rips the FO for running back the same MO every season so maybe this year they are switching it up. Look for a massive rookie class thru out the whole roster. Everyone forgets that we added lots of prospects to an already strong farm system. ‘26 is the time to roll with the rookies. Take some lumps and watch many players uber back and forth across the river. Its going to be a fun summer to watch the youngsters. Expect Ober to be solid. He is healthy… for now. Expect Keaschall to do things he always has done. Get on base and create havoc. There are several more exciting kids coming right behind him. Maybe more guys on this sight should simply expect more and better outcomes from the FO not making the same type of offseason signings. Of course, for me, this changes if/when the FO signs 5 washed up RP’s in the next 45 days and they tank the bullpen til July. I will be the first guy to rip into the FO if thats the direction they choose to go.
  11. I bet against it. Who is getting the boot off the 40 man for Arcia? Why add him to the 40/26 on opening day if he signs a minor league contract? As far as I know, Arcia’s agent can still find him a mlb contract at any time and he can jump ship to another team.
  12. Yes, vets on an mlb contract but Arcia is just a glove. More of a mentor than anything. He isn't blocking any prospect.
  13. Never heard of a 32yo minor leaguer blocking any prospect that is 10 yrs younger and a 1st rd draft pick that could be knocking down the MLB door. Anyone worried about Arcia being on the 40man as or 4/1/26 doesn’t understand minor league depth signings.
  14. Break glass in case of emergency. 🚨 Hopefully Culpepper is ready by June and Arcia stays in st paul. No downside on this move.
  15. Every player get 4 inning per game. By the 7th innng stretch, all the starters will be on the bench…. Depth at sucking that bad….
  16. Larnachs ‘25 season stats are better than Lagemans whole career.
  17. It sure would be exciting to see Martin leadoff if he infact could be close to a .400 obp guy for a full season. Somehow I just don’t see it but Gabby could be that guy by June 1.
  18. Still filling out our roster with AAAA types. Does this move in any way make the roster better?
  19. Im not disagreeing with you, he definitely has to find his hit tools. So did Gabby heading into ‘25. Houston is gold glove caliber so when he finds his bat, he will get pushed to AAA and be an injury away from mlb.
  20. ‘26 is going to be a disaster if they don’t move on from 6-8 AAAA types. We better hope for a 1982/83 type rookie class that comes in and mashes and plays spectacular D by August. The current roster just sucks.
  21. @Nashvilletwin Even if Lebron is drafted, No way he will be our post lockout starting 3B in ‘27. I do like your lineup tho for 28/29 but it may also make include allstar 3B Royce Lewis.
