  1. Bigley 10th HR today, Cats 6-2 win, Called in the 8th.
  2. Again with the rehab. What are the odds he is successful? Better odds he doesn't and needs TJ surgery, missing all of 2013.
  3. None. I'll watch other games, but no other teams intrigue me enough to follow them on a regular basis.
  4. Overly Optimistic Because believing that Blackburn can consistently minimize damage with a BAA over .300 is not a recipe for any positive consistency. Just like believing Liriano can stay consistently good. Not his trademark, likely never will be in a MN uniform. Duensing is an average-at-best starter. That's been proven out by his eventual regression as a starter. Has to start now, given the lack of help available. MN needs more front-line starting pitching. Like nearly every other team in MLB. TRyan has his work cut out trying to get that area improved.
  5. yes, the CHISOX 3B have been hitting worse than Nishioka-level production. So anything Youkilis produces is better than what they've had.
  6. A couple of nice plays this weekend in Cincinnati. Looks like the Twins are going to hang w/Brian for the time being. 5BB/32K, 17 rBI in 43 games. here's to better offensive days ahead.
  7. 5 games in 2 steals, a .911 OPS. Early season stats look good when you're off to a hot start.
  8. Give Denudo a couple more good starts and he'll be up as the "flavor of the week". Or the latest mud to throw against the wall and see if it sticks. Biggest factor is if the Twins even know this rule exits
  9. Called after 6 1/2, 4-3 final Randy Rosario 4IP H/BB/5K 18 year old(as of May 18) from DRepublic.
  10. Another clunker. More to come. Reality is setting in again. Without decent pitching, there isn't going to be a lot of fight out there. Manship is the same as before. Too hittable. Sadly, not many other options. Hendriks has to get it going. Pitch with the same mentality as in AAA. This is not impressive.
  11. Originally signed by the Twins in Feb, 2009, Candido Pimentel is in Elizabethton for the rookie season. Listed at 5'11"/160, the switch-hitting Pimentel is at .357 after the first series of the season. Pimentel played for the DSL Twins in 2009, hitting .293. Last 2 years, have had him in the GCL ,with a .265 avg in 2010(46 games) and in 2011, a .250 average in 45 GCL games. 3 rbi's already this season, half of 2011 total, with a triple among his first 5 hits. Candido will turn 22 July 19, so this is a pretty big year for him. I wish him the best. Besides, how cool of a name is Candido?
  12. Saw a note from an article passed on by a friend that Buxton expected to debut Saturday or Monday.
  13. Gutierrez continues to struggle. Disappointing for him.
  14. While it may be possible to do both(decent product/rebuild farm), given the current situation, what gives people hope the Twins can do this? And I don't want decent; I want a team that is a threat. Getting back to past status of first round and out isn't good enough.
  15. Arcia Hicks are allegedly the "top guys" on the prospect list. ANY pitchers would be worth seeing, since ANYONE with a pulse and has success has a shot of making the Twins.
  16. DRod 3-3 in his 2012 debut with a walk so far today.
  17. No Buxton again today.
  18. I follow it here http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?sid=milb&t=g_box&gid=2012_06_18_twirok_orirok_1 Licon with the first hit of the GCL season. Buxton not in the lineup. Lo 2IP 4Ks
  19. Scoreless after 1 Murphy reached on an error, stole a bag. Lo fanned 2 in the first.
  20. Tonkin already tried starting, no need to mess w/Success. Hope he likes the 2nd half of the season in FM. That's a promotion that should happen soon.
  21. Hey, how come Seth can copy star tribune stuff in here and us non-site creators cannot
  22. 8-7 Beloit loses.
  23. Corey Williams fans a batter w/2 on in the 7th, tied at 7 after 7.
  24. Achter fails 2 walks/3 hits/3 R HR. Tied at 7
