Why not? Why not let him try the Appy League? Why have him play another year of Rook ball next year? Why not be a little more aggressive, if the kid is really that good?

Buxton with is 2nd triple,to go with 2 HRs since coming off injury. I would LOVE for him to finish the year in Eliz. Sady, I doubt that'll happen. What would it hurt?

I think he's wasting time at GCL. Because they're the Twins,they're likely to start in Eliz next year. Also a waste of time. Kepler should be in Beloit now. But they keep room for guys who have no shot,like Liddle. Move Roberts to FM, Kepler to Beloit and Buxton to Eliz now.

13 hits in 10 innings at Eliz, ERA 5.4, 5 walks to go with 12 Ks 8 hits in 9 innings at Beloit 5 more walks ERA of 4 not exactly a stud letting go.

For those not following the boxscore, Gibson did not start. He came in with a runner on. Fanned both batters.

Correct, as the next post after yours noted, he was not coming back. Period. Twins are fortunate the CHISOX didn't land him. Probably passed because he would have had to come back to TField. Twins need starting over with LH hitters not intimidated by the dimensions. LH hitters who pull the ball. Remember RF is the same distance as the dome. Current MN LH hitters are convinced you cannot hit the ball out.

See BamBam Rams. Now toiling in another season at FM, he's now an outfielder, perhaps starting to get it after a .105 pre-break. Still strikes out some. Am sure they've mucked around with him. Won't be long and he'll be gone. Twins have a habit of weeding out big swing guys.

He has a big swing. Will likely succeed in another org,where they don't overly frown on swings/misses, then tinker with the batter to hit it the other way.
