    GCL won the first of 2 6-1,Tosoni a couple of doubles. Berrios fanned 3 more in 2IP for his 3rd Save. Seth, what do you hear of this kid, just turned 18 at the end of May?

    The Twins should have gotten some insurance coverage on Baker's deal(if they had it covered) so that's a couple of dollars to re-invest in something. Discouraging. As posted elsewhere, other franchises are making the moves to draw fans and get better. Because WINNING still is the best draw for a team. It just seems like the Twins don't get that.

    Buxton left the game after stealing a base in GCL's game today. Play-by-plays says injured leg.

    These starters are killing the bullpen. The effectiveness of any of these guys later in the year, AND next year from over-use in 2012, will be in question.

    GCL 3-2 winners. Buxton 0-4/3Ks .037 in 27 at bats.1 hit.

    The over-worked baseball player division. Every level the Twins are stressing bullpens. Probably not alone in this in the pro ranks.

    Buxton still in search of his second hit in the GCL Currently at .040 with 2 k's today (1-25)

    Buxton at .043 with another 0-4 GCL loses 1-0 on HBP/Error on a bunt and WP in the 10th. Allowed 1 hit.

    Agreed. Lefties for the most part on this team occasionally yank one out, but RH power is the key. Buxton, if he can survive his .043 start, could provide pop. Hopefully someone can move up that has RH power. Sano does,Hicks does, Arcia's is primarily LH. Joe Benson has to stop psyching himself out and get moving. Golden opportunity for some OF types.

    Thank you. NO Dozier isn't as ready as hoped, but why play anyone else? They don't have the talent ready to compete, despite the Games Back in this division. The Twins need to be evaluating for the long haul. A return to AAA then the bigs has jump-started Revere. Proving that they could let Span go. Of course, that means someone has to play RF. Such a glaring lack of upper-level depth in this org.

    No doubt Smith made some bad moves, but IMO Deron Johnson has done more harm to this franchise to Smith. Agreed. He's been in charge of the drafts. Needs some of the blame.

    Steve Liddle 50ABs .360/.441/.520---only reason still in org is his dad (MN 3rd base coach) Not his dad. Father played baseball at Lipscomb ... Uncle, also named Steve, is the bench coach for the Minnesota Twins

    There is too much put into a couple of end/season performances which were very good, which is now a few years ago. The guy is now a meatball pitcher. Was a mistake giving him a big extension early(Think Joe Mays). He needs to fake an injury and go back to ext ST where coaches can work mechanics to make him mediocre at best.

    Romy already has more HRs in Eliz's bandbox league than he did in 3 previous seasons. Eliz stats inflate too much. Like hitting in the bandboxes out West in AAA.

    Get Moskos on the 40-man roster, and DFA Manship. Am sure he will clear waivers after his latest tour in MN.
