    I agree with most of what has been said here. Twins have 3 free agents at end of year- Jeffers, Bell, and Rogers. I would try to trade all 3 at trade deadline. Jeffers not resigning with Twins, Bell and Rogers are not part of Twins future plans. If trade Bell and if Wallner gets back on track, Wallner DH. Ryan trade value high, trade if get enough in return, no if not sufficient offers. Ober, not likely to get much for him, and can't have too much pitching- keep if trade Ryan. Larnach, probably not getting much for him, but time to move on so can see what young players have. Get Culpepper up with Twins when healthy, Gray expendable.

    This last injury was very disappointing. Rodriguez definitely would have been called up by now, probably when Wallner went down. Hopefully he can get healthy and can still get some playing time in later in season.

    Besides Culpepper, not really an infielder pushing for callup at AAA.

    Hitting always drops off the year after a wrist fx, look at Rooker, took him a couple of years to get back to hitting like he was before the injury. Confident Luke's hitting will improve 2nd half.

    Winokur has really filled out this past year. Agree 3B and OF are most likely, but what about 1B. 6'6" target, power bat, already can field ground balls. I really like his development, may see some time at AA this year.

    I don't think anyone is saying Fedko is the next Twins AllStar outfielder, just that he has proven himself in minors and deserves an opportunity at the MLB level. Maybe Fedko doesn't produce, but it is time to see if he can.

    I am excited to see how Mendez progresses. He has probably moved up to next call up to cover an injury to outfielder.

    Would like to see some of these position players at AAA get an opportunity with Twins. The top 6 hitters in May are at AAA. Unfortunately only one of the 6 are on 40 man-Mendez, so calling up any of the others would require letting someone else go. Trade Bell soon, has not been a good pickup. Outman is also a candidate for release/trade. Is Wallner done?

    Hope Paredes the best, but agree does not have a very high ceiling. But, can see a role for him with Twins, spot starter/long relief. Would rather see Twins give young players opportunities rather than signing another 35+ year old. I think that makes 5 pitchers to make their MLB debut for Twins this year-Morris, Rojas, Prielipp, Klein. Hope to see more debuts for position players soon.

    There are a lot of good arguments on both sides of this issue. I love Ryan, but think best move for Twins is to trade him at deadline this year if get the right pieces back. Twins don't have to move him this year, so hold out and get great value in return for Ryan. If not good enough offers, no trade.

    I like the urgency Shelton displays. Great to see manager nervous in dugout, like the game is important. FO did well not oversigning veterans so able to play young players. I like direction Twins are headed.

    Interesting that Fedko hitting .290 and deemed not ready, and Culpepper hitting .250 and people anxious for call up. Fedko can play any of outfield positions and has experience at 1B, has hammered LH pitching this year. I would hope he would get an opportunity with Twins this year.

    Ryan likely gone, but should return Bradley, Able, Rojas type in trade.

    Mendez is exciting, Twins don't have many prospects with his hitting ability. Defense is an issue for him. Hill has it. He just needs to learn how to pitch more, improve control and consistency. Great to have another LH pitcher top prospect.

    Hope Zebby keeps it up and makes it hard to return him to AAA.

    Need to see more of Gomez to know what Twins have in him, Garcia may be OK for low leverage, but not a closer. The problem with calling up Arcia is he is not on 40 man, would have to DFA someone. I think Gray needs some starts at 3B, 6 games this week, Gray should start at 3B for 2 of them at least.

    Zebby's last 2 starts have been good at AAA. and he lines up well with Ryan's spot in rotation-pitched on Saturday. I look for Matthews to get to call to replace Ryan in rotation. SWR may have to have a couple more starts until Able ready to return. Yes, it has been hard to watch SWR after first time through order, really struggling to get outs.

    I would love to see Rodriguez break camp with the Twins, but not likely with Twins philosophy. Twins will want to gain one more year of control. Can see an outfield of some combination of Rodriguez, Buxton, Rodon, and Martin by midseason with Gonzolez and Jenkins waiting for opportunity in St. Paul?

    I look for Twins to pick up a couple more castoffs during spring training. I think MacLeod is a sleeper for bullpen, not to start year, but later in year.

    I have no issues with Twins signing Urshela to be the backup, backup's, backup at 3B.

    1B is harder than people give it credit for. Easier for infielder to move to 1B, already can field in infield. Then, there is also catching rising fastballs, sliders, changeups and throws in the dirt from infielders. Mendez has a lot of work to do to be a MLB firstbaseman.

    Festa also seems to have some durability issues, can his arm handle a starting pitcher's 150+ innings a year. Maybe he begins the year at AAA to get accustomed to relief role, but I agree, Festa could be the Twins best relief pitcher this year.
