  1. "Pet Bunny"..I love it.."soft"..Yeah, I hear you. It makes me look back at the 2019 Washington Nationals. That team was as gritty as any team I have seen. I wish this Twins squad could resemble anything close to those guys.
  2. Exactly. Morneau made a great point by saying these short outings put a great deal of pressure on the BP..I'm done with Rocco
  3. If they can't score runs it doesn't matter. Starting pitchers need to be able to go longer too..
  4. You didn't turn the game off...
  5. When Cave gets hot it's a beautiful thing. However, I don't like the routes he's been taking in left, & there isn't any sign that his bat is going to wake up. So yeah, I feel your frustration
  6. Yep..and Rocco's decision tonight tells me he's the same manager from the 2019 post season. I don't trust him.
  7. Tough to see Roger's cursed with bad luck. Maybe 1 or 2 legitimate mistakes..
  8. I'm going to have to disagree with that. Kepler puts together a pretty powerful swing especially when he's sitting on something. He just missed a couple recently. He'll be back, just watch.
  9. I feel bad for Shoemaker. He looked so demoralized out there along with his lackluster attempt at backing up home plate at the end. Many of the big hits came in 2 strike counts. Hopefully the Twins can come out tomorrow and kick some ass.
  10. I feel everyone's frustration and agree with many observations made here. But..this team WILL TURN IT AROUND. In fact, the division title? I like our chances. We will win!
  11. You all have made some outstanding points and observations. I agree with many of them, but I still think this Twins team will absolutely turn things around. Too much talent & potential not too in my opinion. Twins will win the division again.
  12. As a fan I'm giving 1 more chance to both Buxton and Donaldson to stay in the lineup before I call them each a bust. I've never liked Roger's as a closer, & I'm not confident in his abilities going forward. Still hopefully optimistic about 2021. If the Twins make the playoffs, I hope Baldelli learns from past managerial decisions.
  13. At least Justin Morneau wasn't afraid to point out how bad the Twins approach was to the game. You have to have a plan B when the home-run isn't there (bunting, small Ball etc). Baldelli was again out-managed.
  14. 100% agree. Why not give Jeffers the opportunity to shine in a big moment? I trust him more than any of the others.
  15. Agree with your points and would just like to add that it also just simply comes down to execution. The Astros got the big hits with men on when they needed to and made the defensive plays. We did not.
  16. Yeah, Mr. Baldelli...I didn't like how you managed in the ALDS, and I sure don't like how you managed this game. WTF
  17. Augustana pitching coach? Who are you referring to?
  18. Would have liked to see Maeda stay in longer. Rosario's at bat leading off the bottom of the 9th seemed like he didn't give a damn. All in all, typical all around post-season CHOKE JOB. Its times like this that I question why I dedicate so much time & energy following the Minnesota Twins
  19. That big off-season free agent signing...not even able to play in the first round of the playoffs. What a disappointment
  20. Great points in a well written article. I personally think the case could made that Rich Hill should be the number 3 starter. Its a good problem to have
  21. Mitch Garvers at bat in the 8th with runners on 2nd & 3rd pretty much sums up his performance dating back to last years ALDS. IMPOTENT. And Mitch, its NOT ALWAYS ABOUT THE HR. He fouled back a pitch right down the middle with a huge swing. You have got to score the guy from 3rd with less than 2 outs. I also believe that he has an inflated sense of his skills at the plate.
  22. I hung in just long enough to watch Garver's first plate appearance, after which I became very ill.
