  1. They just are not a very good team. Offense is non existent. Hitters chasing bad pitches no matter what the count is and swinging and missing or fouling off pitches that should be hit. Runs only coming as a result of walks, errors & the occasional solo home run it seems.
  2. Actually Roger's got squeezed on the 1-1 pitch the umpire missed it and instead of 1-2 it was 2-1. Completely changed what Roger's could do. Huge difference. Roger's is throwing well. Side note: Nelson Cruz is Completely Lost at the plate not seeing the ball well at all. Getting almost zero production from you DH and Multi Million dollar 3rd baseman isn't helping.
  3. I just saw a headline that read: "Are Kirilloff and Larnach making Kepler expendable?" I think Refsnyder can get an honorable mention. BUT in my opinion, Kepler isn't the "expendable" one. It's Buxton. Simply because HE CAN NOT STAY ON THE FIELD. I love Byron, love watching him play, but at what point do we call him Byron 'Bust'on?
  4. I look at it as if it was a great way to cap off a tough road trip that included victories over 2 good teams going into an off day.
  5. Really? I think about him at least twice a day
  6. Larnach reminds me just a bit of Wally Joyner, great fluid swing. Still needs to not try and pull outside pitches and go the other way. I was mostly impressed with Garver's AB. pitch was a few inches off and he stayed down and through with a perfect swing. Thanks Mitch.
  7. Yep, their approach seemed half hearted and no one even tried sitting change up. I think they were dreading getting on a plane to play a double header in CA & no off day in a while.
  8. Agree. Reminiscent of his managerial decisions in the '19 postseason.
  9. No, he tried to hit him into his meaty thighs & glute (largest muscle in the human body) which, to your point, is the "sportsmanship" place to hit someone.
  10. Put this wet blanket in the dryer ?
  11. That's funny..In 2019 I recall a game where Rocco stormed out of the dugout, the camera was right on him, and I swear he lead with: "you're going to throw me out of this game"
  12. Yeah there are a few kinks with the new format. For example; when I initially opened this page/article, there were 2 quoted posts pre-loaded before I even touched anything.
  13. About Shoemakers start today? I'm predicting a solid start from him today.
  14. Mitch Garver's game needs an overhaul. His coming out party in 2019 was a one-time courtesy. SITUATIONAL HITTING...He needs to check his ego and hit for contact, hit the the ball the other way, and "grind out" an at-bat for crying out loud. And...he's a liability behind the plate in my opinion.
  15. I don't particularly love the body language I've seen from him this year. Defeated, and it almost looks as if he's on the verge of walking off of the field.
  16. Yeah I really wanted to see Rordtvet (sp) come up to the plate there. The youngster was fired up all night after that nice hit, & I think he would have had a good AB. Totally disliked the move by Baldelli.
  17. Yep...and recalling those games from the 2019 regular season is how I'm medicating myself right now.?
  18. Oh yeah. Just a random question I had especially after seeing how...lackluster a couple of our starters have been
  19. He always starts off really slow. He'll heat up. You'll know it when he starts to grind out his at-bats more.
  20. Question, why weren't the Twins able to re-sign Rich Hill?? He would have come in pretty handy right about now especially coming off an impressive 2020
  21. I saw way way too many swings and misses on fastballs in the strike zone by Twins hitters tonight. Yes, the velocity was high, but you cannot continue to miss pitches in the strike zone.
  22. Love the new format guys!! Thank you
