    I believe the theory is to let the opener polish off the first 3 hitters...then your starter begins his day by pitching to the weaker heart of the order...the 4-9 guys. Then, when the 1-3 guys see your starter...it's their first look. Is their any advantage to this strategy? Slight if any. Few teams do it.

    Great article. Seems a lot of calls go against Correa. Since he was apart of the scandal in Houston. Are umpires subconsciously against him? This is a question. Not an opinion.
