  1. I think this ump is a midget Sorry... little person
  2. Hahhahahaha. That strike 3 was 6" outside
  3. Whichever Davis is playing in left field I'm pretty sure had the worst arm in MLB history. He's got to be jealous of Revere
  4. Is there a sign for "run at full speed"
  5. Rehab in Rochester. Homer and a single today
  6. Seriously. That was pathetic
  7. I would say "lower half" implies worse than 12th.
  8. This. In a vacuum, should a team that is 2 games above 500, with a minus-50ish run differential be sellers? Yeah. Probably. But we aren't living in a vacuum. We have a young team that hasn't had any success in years. We are a game back of a team that is projected to have a much better 2nd half than first half, but crazy things happen. Additionally, if we have a chance to stabilize a) our 5th starter spot and our 3rd best bullpen option and it doesn't cost us much then I say go for it Jamie Garcia does nothing for the Astros because you'd be taking a 50% win probability pitcher and replacing him with a 50% win probability pitcher. But if we can take our 20% win probability pitcher and replace him with Jamie Garcia, that could me 2 wins. That doesn't globally make Jamie Garcia a 4.0 WAR pitcher but maybe he's 4.0 TwinsWAR. Same thing on the RP side.
  9. I could also see someone like Randy Rosario or Luke Bard
  10. Kiriloff and Thorpe are definite a "No" for me. Garver is a no (though I think the Twins should call him up today). Anyone else besides the obvious no's I'd probably be fine with. My guess... Vielma
  11. There seem to be a lot of people saying that people are freaking out, but I'm not really seeing anyone actually freaking out.
  12. In the split second before it became clear that it was going to be a close play, my brain quickly though..." Wow. Either Dozier got a terrible jump or he's just coasting into home" My guess is that he didn't think it was going to be that close and/or he had no idea what Judge's arm was like. As for the play at the plate. In the literalist reading of the rule, it MIGHT not have been blocking. But in common sense viewing, he was definitely blocking
  13. Aren't there way more viable 1B eligible guys than 3B?
  14. I feel like calling up Mitch Garver fixes a couple of our problems
  15. Oh my god... I just noticed Polanco is our DH
  16. Impressive stuff by Grossman and Rosario. Needed at least 2 runs this inning
  17. It's game-worn. Colon has to change every inning
  18. I don't blame Rosario for not getting that. Just using this as a prime example of how having Buxton out there, is a net benefit, even if he's going terribly at the plate
  19. Good infield defense, worse outfield defense
