  1. Twins batters... making Carlos Silvia look like Nolan Ryan since April 2017
  2. Sure.... this guy is a better prospect that Gonsalves Dylan Cease: http://www.baseballamerica.com/statistics/players/cards/9451/dylan-cease Gonsalves: http://www.baseballamerica.com/statistics/players/cards/5120/stephen-gonsalves Righty that is 1 year younger than Gonsalves (lefty), but is at Low-A, has a slightly K/9, but a way higher BB/9 ETA: He's ranked 83
  3. "Kintzler warming up for what he hopes is a save situation" Noooooooooo!!!! You say this like once a freaking week. Stop saying this, you dolt. He hopes the Twins score 5 runs in the bottom of the 8th and it's not a save situation.
  4. He has super-duper sucked the last 3 weeks
  5. A double that would've been a fly out in any other park (compounded by the fact that it hit the ladder), an error by Polanco, a double play ball with nobody to cover 2nd, and a swinging bunt RBI, that could've been the 5th out, but was only the 2nd out.
  6. "When you're toting around my first name you get called a lot of things" Dick Bremer 6/29/17
  7. Do not mistake this as an approval of Gibson. Nobody would argue he's our #2. What I'm saying is the the order of our rotation doesn't have to go in the order that we trust them and, in fact, sticking to that order is probably forcing us to use relievers in spots we'd rather not use them. I like keeping the lefties together because then it's less likely that those lefties will see righty-dominant lineups (although with Santiago's splits this year, he'd probably welcome it)
  8. Boyer AND Abad? They're just rubbing our noses in it now
  9. I don't think having them back to back increases their chances of being able to skip guys
  10. Santiago should be available after tonight's rain delay
  11. Man, we swing and miss a lot
  12. Well, Castro, at least it wasn't a GIDP
  13. Correction: Zack Granite numbers
  14. If Buxton had that 30.1 ft/s speed, he'd have had that
  15. Hold on... couldn't Santiago jump in the pitching order and pitch on Saturday. No 6th guy needed
  16. Buxton should've just run that ball home. Probably could've beat Perdoia there.
  17. Only Twins announcers call 96 "high 90s"
  18. Pretty sure you are kidding, but in June he's got as many walks as strikeouts, so I'm not worried.
  19. I checked the game at 6:30, saw it was delayed, checked the radar, and immediately thought this game wasn't starting until 9:00 central.
  20. FoxSports has indicated the rain delay is sponsored by Chevrolet. That effing truck commercial has played 5 times already. If I hear "oh snap" one more time, I'm going to lose it.
  21. I was surprised they bothered to start the game. It seemed pretty obvious from the radar that another round of rain was coming. Now both teams' bullpens are messed up. Nice job Fenway meteorologist.
  22. When we have a chance to hit the reset button at the All Star break, what pitching order do you think we should have? Let's assume current starting 5. I think we need to break up Santana and Berrios. It hurts the bullpen too much to have the other 3 back to back. I think I'd keep the lefties together. Santana Gibby Berrios Santiago Mejia
