  1. This is his 4th time sitting in the last 8 games as well. Unbelievable
  2. Here are the metrics of the worst hitting trio in baseball that continues to play every time a left is on the mound. Does anything here scream that they’re about to break out and that they’re simply getting unlucky? Farmer Vazquez Margot
  3. What the hell is this lineup? It’s time for heads to roll (though it won’t matter unless the Pohlad’s sell). Kepler is now sitting 2 games in a row even though he’s hit lefties well this season. If the twins were stacking quality righties, fine, but they have the 3 worst hitters in baseball in the lineup, with one of them leading off. This was supposed to be an exciting season and Joe Pohlad turned it into my least tuned into season of the past 5 years. I know others feel the same way. It’s a good thing MN sports have bright futures because the Twins don’t with these people in charge.
  4. What’s eating 90% of the team? The results of almost everyone on the team are not in line with the expectations. We keep breaking these players down individually but when nearly everyone is having a down year or regressing then you can only blame the system and coaches. Duran said it out loud the other day. The plan is f***** If this continues, coaches and front office need to be let go
  5. I think fans are spending too much time focusing on individual performances instead of recognizing that almost no one on this team is producing beyond what’s expected of them right now. Nearly everyone is underperforming expectations. Yeah they had a hot streak and most guys haven’t been bad all season long but when looking at the full season worth of stats this is pretty close to a total system failure right now. Hard to blame individual players for that. We heard it from Duran the other day. These guys are being told what to do and it’s not working.
  6. I expect Correa to provide value as long as he’s healthy but Buxton just seems ruined to me. He’s always going to have consistent IL trips and his pitch recognition and bat speed are at an all time low. I don’t anticipate him providing much value anymore.
  7. I’m just pointing out that when the Yankees are good, the twins never have a chance
  8. Larnach seems to come up and immediately hit and be on fire and then everything goes south after about 2 to 3 weeks. Seems to be what’s happening here.
  9. I think we can all agree, though that was the worst Yankees team in the 21st-century
  10. Amazing that MLB calls that a hit and not an error
  11. It’s time for the Kiriloff experiment to end. He can’t hit and he’s the worst defender I’ve ever seen at MLBs easiest positions
  12. It just seems like the Yankees never chase anything when they play the twins
  13. Kiriloff has never actually had mlb success longer than a handful of weeks. You can’t keep the AAA shuffle up forever. Good players shouldn’t need AAA stints every year to get right. Kiriloff is very near bust status right now
  14. As long as Jeffers is starting 130 games a year which is what he’s or pace for then I’m fine the way they’re doing it right now Vázquez is better defensively than Jeffers. I think we can all agree that Jeffers should be playing catcher more often but right now with Buxton hurt and Lewis hurt and Wallner in the minors, who else is going to take up that time at DH? If Jeffers is at catcher more often right now, he’s likely playing less games overall so you’re getting the worse defensive catcher, less games with Jeffers and you’re really only replacing Vasquez with Margo, Kiriloff, Martin, or farmer (all brutal options right now) Until the bench looks better Jeffers and Vázquez should be in the lineup as often as possible as long as Vázquez never DHs
  15. Is a .750 ops enough for him to be a mlb starter? Brandon Belt continues to sit without a team and he’s better than that. Kiriloff’s defense and a .750 ops is not an mlb regular.
  16. Maybe he’s just a bust? He’s had a few hot streaks but the metrics have rarely backed it up. Now he has multiple surgeries under his belt. I know he was a big time prospect but he’s officially running out of time here to show he can hit major league pitching. If he can’t produce an OPS+ of 120 then he has no value as a starting player since his defense is brutal
  17. Yank SWR and Ober with limited injury history at 80 pitches let Paddack who is coming off of major arm surgeries throw 100 pitches make it make sense
  18. Rocco removed SWR early yesterday, this is the result keep defending him though. Rest the rotation, tax the bullpen, that’s always been his bread and butter.
  19. Rest your starters, overwork the injured bullpen. Makes sense
  20. Woah, Castillo is still in the game. That’s not allowed. Your manager was supposed to overthink things and remove a guy because 3rd time through the lineup
  21. Provus- only one run scores! would have been zero if Rocco wasn’t always trying to make his presence felt
  22. Maybe don’t remove the guy who’s dominating before you have to?
  23. Removing SWR early means Thielbar will pitch. Poor guy did everything you could ever ask and won’t get the win
