  1. This team is just like any team in the Gardy or Molitor or early Rocco days. Probably good enough to make the playoffs but bad enough to start a new playoff losing streak.
  2. Somehow the worst hitters on each team are coming through clutch
  3. Trent Grisham and his BA of 51 incredible
  4. One game played for Jeffers in a span of 4 days and Lewis sits instead of playing field one day and DHing the other two. what a magical lineup
  5. Except Lewis can play defense and Jeter is one of the worst defensive players ever
  6. That catch was way more impressive than Verdugo’s
  7. Hey it kicked in last year during the worst Yankees season this century. Just have to wait for them to suck again
  8. Watching the Yankees telecast to make things more miserable on myself. The announcers and fans acted like that was the most incredible catch of all time lol. It was good, but that kind of catch is made daily lol If Verdugo wasn’t in the 28th percentile for speed he could have camped under that
  9. Like I said the 3 runs were on swings that based on xBA should be outs Twins could never get a pitcher like Gil and never would have had a chance at him so we have to take what we can get.
  10. Ober pitched well and was screwed on 2 swings with xBA of like .220 Royce Lewis having only 3PAs as the 5 hitter and Rocco’s man crush on Thielbar were the problems.
  11. Game over and it’s barely begun
  12. Lewis will get an off day as well, watch.
  13. Incredible that the twins booth can see exactly what’s up with Correa today and the twins coaches who get paid to see these things don’t 😅
  14. It was no different last year either. He was dominant to lefties as usual and gave up a combined 1.000 ops in the regular season and playoffs to righties. He’s a LOOGY in an era where that is against the rules
  15. Thielbar should never pitch to righties. It’s the closest thing to batting practice in the league
  16. Yet with the top of the lineup coming up there’s nowhere for him to pinch hit. Jeffers sitting after the off day is just an incredible thing. Jeffers is not a 35 yr old catcher nearing the end
  17. would this not be a good time for a Jeffers PH appearance lol?
  18. I love that Abreu has been the worst hitter in baseball the last year plus until he faces the twins. Then he magically transforms into MVP Jose
  19. Why wouldn’t it be? Would be pretty irresponsible to never let your lefties hit against lefties because platoon and change it up in the playoffs theres a reason batting stats are all worse early in the season than later in the season. Players need ABs to get in a groove. If Kepler finishes the season with 35 PAs against lefties he’s not going to play vs lefties even if it’s the WS
  20. I can’t wait until the twins make the playoffs and play a 3 game series against a team with 2 lefties and Max Kepler with his .800+ OPS rides the bench both games
  21. These all righty lineups continue to make me laugh.
  22. He saw that Duran gave up multiple hits on the box score but didn’t know that they each went 40 feet because he didn’t watch the game and “a hit is a hit”
  23. Correa’s current hitting metrics that’s an elite hitter if he can stay in the field
  24. 4.1 innings of bullpen from a bullpen that after Jax and Duran has been really bad lately. let’s see if it works
  25. Woah Buxton hitting the ball hard to the opposite field? Haven’t seen that in 2+ years
