  1. An entire season of .930 ops would have put him 7th in baseball last year and would 100% get mvp votes.
  2. It wasn’t 3 weeks. He had an ops of .930 the second half of the season. Those are mvp numbers.
  3. Buxton is allergic to RBIs that don’t come from a solo HR
  4. He has a .143 batting avg with RISP the last 2 years so it’s not shocking.
  5. Is there anyone with worse collective stats with runners in scoring position than Byron? Struck out in the exact same situation yesterday .141 average last year .145 the year before.
  6. At least our owner didn’t announce today that he’s so excited to see other teams hit home runs at their new minor league stadium home .
  7. I did the math based off their 3+billion dollar worth. Would be equal to a normal middle class family rounding up at the grocery store
  8. Very nice home opener intro otherwise let’s go Twins!
  9. $5,000 whole dollars to Bremer’s charity. Wow, Joe Pohlad really is cheaper than his dad
  10. what an inning! I so thought that was getting caught though
  11. Sounds like Margot did that on his own. Worth a benching if so.
  12. No he was out by a few feet if he tags.
  13. I think you’re looking at yesterdays box score bad news, outside of the pitcher change, the results are mostly the same 😂
  14. I’m not that upset about Margot coming in. He’s had success against lefties but playing for 1 run there when you’re down 1-0 has an extremely low run expectation. Analytics will say that was a terrible decision. Once again the twins are an analytic driven organization until they’re not. Pick one or the other. I understand that the lefty lefty matchup wasn’t ideal but to replace Julien for that was absolute insanity and the complete opposite of “analytics driven”
  15. Removing your top OBP guy from last year who is due to come up 2 more times for an underwhelming righty to come into the game and lay down a first pitch bunt…with the bases loaded…and 2 outs. One of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen.
  16. Might be the worst decision of Rocco’s career there yikes
  17. we really removed Julien in the 4th for Margot to bunt? who makes these decisions
  18. Julien vs a lefty or one of our underwhelming right handed bench bats cold off the bench? what an awful choice to have to make.
  19. Jeffers still at .000 with no hard hit balls after an ops of 1.178 in spring spring stats don’t matter
  20. Now it’s 12. I promise I won’t keep updating the list if it gets worse
  21. There are 11 teams with a higher batting average than the Twins slugging percentage
  22. Buxton will sadly never learn to lay off pitches that no one swings at
  23. Varland is not a starting pitcher. idk how many more times it needs to be said. instead of getting a dominant reliever we’re forcing him to be a bad starter because there’s nobody else Also super excited that the offense is trying to be anemic the first half of the season again
  24. Yup, was just coming to say the same. Austin Martin welcome to the twins
  25. Crushing a ball 108 mph and playing better defensive 1B than Kiriloff could? Yeah, I agree
