    I'm pessimistically predicting play that results in an 11-17 June. The only good thing about it is that Chicago may have an even tougher schedule than the Twins.

    I am interested to see how the starting pitching (particularly Gray, Ryan, Smeltzer and Ober) holds up for Toronto - Tampa Bay. If it's solid through those games, I'll feel better about the possibilities for this season. I'm not expecting much from Bundy, Archer or Sands (if he's needed). If the other four pitch well against tough opponents, then I think a move for a starter like Montas needs to be made closer to the deadline. It will cost a lot, but the team will have control of the top 6 (including Winder) for at least an additional year. The games against the Tigers and Guardians are important for the division, but those nine games against the East will be telling.

    Gray is the guy. Smeltzer would be 1b, if Baldelli and Duffey wouldn't have bent him over against the Royals.

    Great write-up on Smeltzer. He's been answering the call, and I hope it continues tonight. I'd love to see Ryan, Gray, Ober, Winder and Archer/Bundy be able to go six every fifth day for the rest of the season, but the reality is that won't happen. Smeltzer will be probably be needed all season as the 7th-man, and he just needs to keep giving the team a chance to win.

    I'll go with the Wild, because I think Kaprizov is truly a generational talent and the team will get some other pieces to make it happen.

    This is true. However, if you plan to ride the LRT from MOA to Target Field, you will be exposed to "urban culture". Some people aren't comfortable with it, and they often mistakenly associate this with crime.

    That's an incomplete and wishful thinking list. Karbo's response is more in line with what the real reasons are. Even if you aren't older and handicapped trying to navigate downtown, you still may have to deal with the complete clusterf*** that is the LRT after night games. The crowds on the trains aren't the problem either. It's the complete mismanagement of the lines and the out-of-service cars that happens when the games let out.
