  1. Way to pitch, Joe. Bad luck on two dinks and a dropped foul tip, and you still shut 'em down.
  2. I can tune in, but I know there are plenty who can't.
  3. The Rays K about 9 times per game. (4th worst in the AL) Joe Ryan Ks just over 9 per 9 IP. Can he go deep enough and get hot enough to make to 100 Ks tonight? I wish we could all tune in.
  4. The players that you mention were all 1b or 1c picks, and I know I didn't qualify that in my post. Players like Aaron Hicks, Kyle Gibson and Matt Garza had already been selected. 2011 (Boyd) was a disaster in hindsight, as none of the first rounders even got a cup of coffee in the show and the Twins got zero WAR out of the entire draft. Cavaco was 1a and top half of the draft, so I look at that differently.
  5. What? A website generated a clickbait article leading up to the trade dealine? Don't we get one of those every other day at this site.
  6. Heheh ... Carlos Correa is the only Twins player on that entire all-star board and at the bottom. I guess people aren't paying attention to the in-game plugs about voting Twins to the All-Star game. Oh wait. Hey Joe, I heard you and your media buddies shot your fanbase down. You shot 'em down to the ground.
  7. Santana was never that bad, and the sample of his bad streaks weren't all that large. He also mostly played great defense and ran the bases well when he was struggling at the plate. I'm not drinking the Guyana special on him being All-Star, but I do think his addition will be looked back on as a positive one. Margot is a completely different story. He's been on a two week run of getting on base a lot, and that's about it. No power. sub-par defense and always fails as a pinch-hitter. Santana: 1.0 bWAR 112 OPS+ Margot: -0.8 bWAR 78 OPS+ Margot should start losing PAs to Martin as the season progresses
  8. Might just be in for one of those days when everyone just sucks.
  9. JFC .. I don't think Civale put one in the zone against Miranda or Buxton ... What a stupid, ****ing umpire.
  10. Cavaco has to be a top five all-time worst pick for the Twins. Couldn't even get to AA as a first rounder. Hope he saved his bonus baby money.
  11. As long as they aren't 300 #ers doing two-a-days, they'll be fine. I don't think pro baseball players have the health conditions of the target audience of those stay-inside-and-be-afraid recommendations.
  12. Great walk-off win in a vacuum. They said that was Kepler's 10th walk-off delivery of his career. I'll pass on the corporate contrived clown show event day though. The catcher's gear was the diabetes-inducing, buttercream frosting on that gaudy tasteless cake. Get off my lawn, I guess.
  13. 8 hits from Lewis, Correa and Buxton w/ 7 strong from Ryan. Let's keep doin' that.
  14. Santana takes it himself and cool, crisp win.
  15. Joe Ryan: Professional Bullpen Saver
  16. Look at the english on that shot.
  17. Lock it down, Joe. You actually got some runs, and no one's taking the over on length from your opponent.
  18. Damn, that's some Ricky Vaughn **** right there.
  19. Gotta be both And ... he don't fool around with no Oscar Meyer weiner, so don't know how he's gonna handle the sausage.
