  1. I believe Pineda was suspended for a weight loss drug, not roids. Great couple day for the Twins and I'm shocked they got Colome at that price. Wonder if they could still get a SP with good upside for $6-8m?
  2. Great off season again for Falvey. Hoping for one more proven RP arm and some White Sox season long injuries
  3. White Sox added Lance Lynn, arguably the worst clubhouse guy in MLB. That is good for at least 5 losses
  4. Did I miss the Twins signing of Mike Foltynewicz? He is exactly the type of arm you should take a flyer on
  5. Solid signing! Gives Lewis one more year in the minors before he takes over at SS.
  6. Why do Twins fans think every off-season the team will turn into the Yankees or Dodgers. No one went to games last year and probably won't this year either. I love this signing! Happy isn't a Cy candidate, but he is very good and very reliable. Anyone remember the rag arms we had at the 4 & 5 spots in our WS years? Now please go out and resign Cruz, get a backup MI and another RP
  7. Zach Davies had a very good year for the Padres. If he does that again, Cubs could flip him as a cheap rental at the trade deadline. He is only making $8.5 and will be a UFA after the season
  8. Cleveland SPs aren't 5 and fly either. Hopefully we are developing guys that will be allowed to go 7+ innings
  9. Hybrid plan for me, but I'd rather have Wood than Odo. Bring back Cruz and Clippard and take some shots with rebound guys to fill the pen.
  10. Any chance Marwin comes back on a one year, prove it deal? He at least gives professional ABs
  11. How about Tyler Zombro from the Rays? http://m.milb.com/milb/player/677742
  12. Sox gave up a great prospect for Lynn. Too bad Lynn rediscovered himself after he left the Twins. Given a choice of Springer & Dunning or Lynn in the South Side, I'm 100% in favor of the Lynn trade. This division is no cake walk now! With the Indians SP depth, Sox lineup & solid rotation.. the Twins will need to answer the bell.
  13. Have to give the W to the Twins. Dozier and Forsythe were a wash the rest of the year, but the Twins get a long reliever/5th SP that is under team control for a number of years. Smeltzer isn't an ace, but he is more than a capable big league pitcher with decent numbers
  14. If I'm Eddie, I would go to Miami. He lives adoration and he could be a hero there. Not sure if the NL us still more if a FB league, but that would help him too
  15. I'm guessing we might have extended rosters again next year, so there might be quite a few taken this year
  16. Odorizzi is a Five and Fly pitcher now. Is it possible he works out his control and goes 6-7 on a regular basis, yes, but not probable. I'd rather take a few cheaper flyers on guys like Walker and Tiers, than commit big dollars to Odo.
  17. Stroman has been very opinionated for a few years. Way for him to never give a guy a chance because if something he read. Just because a guy gets a couple DUIs over an extended period of time, doesn'ake him a bad person or bad manager.
  18. Worried about our bats going into the playoffs. Will we have Bux and Donaldson? Sano has been very cold of late and Cruz was quiet coming back from his injury. Wish Polanco was rolling and we could put him in front of Arraez.
  19. Glad to be done with Detroit, just as Cabrera woke up! Hope Cruz is ready to go against the Reds, need him in his groove come next week
  20. Cody Stashak is a she? Hope Cody knows that ;-) I trust all our pitchers right now, except May and Rogers.
  21. Gardy did the best he could with what he had to work with. His teams played the right way, played hard and respected the game. Hopefully his health situation is something that can be minimized by removing the stress of the job.
  22. Great trade from Day 1! Hope some of our young pitchers can learn a few tips from him. His split/change is just nasty
  23. Marwin has been heating up of late. Give him 3-4 games per week and let Blankenhorn get his feet wet in the big leagues. Maybe he proves enough to replace Marwin next year in a super sub roll.
  24. Nice click bait article! Your hatred for Eddie isn't healthy.
  25. The coaches have been overprotective on SPs getting their rest, why the change today? Key was Wieters and that ridiculous AB, seemed to get into Dobnak's head. Much needed day of rest coming
