    As far as Vizquel goes, he'd be a good choice. Unfortunately he's the first base, baserunning and infield coach for the Tigers. Finding an available guy that's not a lateral move is difficult. All of the guys with experience are already taken i.e. Sandy Alomar, Tony Pena, Vizquel, Alfredo Griffin, Dave Martinez, Bengie Molina, Juan Samuel, Roberto Kelly. The best bet is to look at minor league managers and coaches who would like a chance to crack a major league staff or someone not coahing like Robby Alomar. The Twins do have guys on their DSL and GCL staffs, which is a good thing for their youngsters.

    Guillen managed the Marlins in 2012. Alomar is a Special Advisor to the Jays. He doesn't have any official coaching experience, but brother Sandy has a ton.

    To me you just keep looking at the waiver wire everyday. Schafer is one option, if a better option comes across the wire tomorrow, pick that guy up and DFA Schafer. We just need a body to help fill CF the rest of the season. Just keep scouring the wire until you pick up a decent option like Fuld was. You know, like Jason Bartlett, Jason Pridie or Jason Tyner.

    I was thinking Milone will take Pino's spot and May will take Darnell's spot. Don't know who comes off roster to make room for May.

    I've always wanted an alternative with a "TC" on the chest. This wouldn't be bad with a big TC instead of the Twins script. Also hide the Nike swish on the other sleeve.

    By the way, 3 managers from the WBC who might be available are Luis Sojo (Venezuela) and Edwin Rodriguez (Puerto Rico) who are coaching or managing in the minors and Eduardo Perez (Colombia) an analyst on ESPN.

    You got your list from the WBC coahing list (Dominican and Venezuela)- a good place to start. We should also look at Colombia, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua and any defectors from Cuba. Sometimes I think they rely too much on the fact that TonyO is around the club a lot. I believe he would be the last active ML latino coach that the Twins have had.

    MLB already has him ranked #10 behind Buxton, Sano, Stewart, Meyer, Barrios, Gordon, Polonco, May, and Thorpe.

    Sorry, I was working last night. It was probably discussed in the game thread last night, but that's already disappeared. Why did the Twins wear their BP jerseys last night? Anyone have the explanation? Boy they're ugly.

    Here's what I'm guessing the Twins will look like on or about September 1 (when rosters expand): Lineup: Santana SS Mauer 1B Dozier 2B Arcia RF Vargas DH Plouffe 3B Suzuki C Parmelee LF Rosario CF Bench: Escobar, Nunez, Polonco, Pinto, Fryer, Herrmann, Waiver Pickup OF'er or Hicks Rotation: Gibson Hughes Nolasco May Milone Bullpen: LH - Perkins, Duensing, Theilbar, Johnson, Darnell Bullpen: RH - Fien, Meyer, Tonkin, Swarzak, Pressly, Pryor, Pino Gone via waiver/trade: Willingham, Colabello, Coriea, Deduno, Burton This is one man's opinion. It might give us a glimpse of the future.

    Yeah, I don't get why Milone goes to AAA while Pino and Darnell stay. But maybe another move or 2 by the end of the day. They can't go too long with only Santana for CF. Maybe Correia goes today or Willingham with Vargas coming up.

    Here's a silly question - has there ever been a player traded around the deadline from a team who played a suspended game to the other team playing that game. And the next day when finishing that suspended game plays against his former team thereby appearing for both teams in the box score. I guess theoretically it could happen.
