    I know it's easy to fall for fools gold, but when I look at our top 20 prospects, recent draft, add buxton/lewis/jeffers/ryan/lopez to the mix, and our payroll flexibility..... I am really excited about what this could be in a year or 2. this post will probably come back to haunt me

    Tired of being in the middle. I love every aspect of a complete sell off. Folks that only wanted to sell expirings will keep us ho-hum for years. Go big or go home.

    I would love for you to be right but I doubt we get the Dodgers 11th ranked prospect who was a 1st rounder 2 yrs ago. But here's hoping!

    Really fair point, but risk on the Duran side too. Has to be a reason he's now 99/100 vs 103/104. Maybe it's the guns! :)

    Fair question. Next year, not terrible at all I think 5-6m. I hate to say, I don't think it matters, because we'll be bad again in 2026. Yes ,'team control' in 2027 but thats when we have to extend an again closer for big $, or commit to trading. hes my favorite twin, but i think the trade is solid

    Much like Jorge Lopez and Matt Capps? (Ramos was a Stud) Relievers can be tricky. On the flip side, Ryan Pressley trade didn't work out well.

    Because we will not be good for two years, so he provides no value, and Duran will get expensive. Have you ever negotiated anything? Demanding a ridiculous return isn't how it goes.

    For today, one swing, your point is valid. I love his immense power also. But in total, he is emblematic of everything wrong. No fielding .200 hitting right fielder. Yet we (or at least Rocco) thought he would be a great lead off hitter? We have far to many AAAA players and sadly Matt is one of them. ive tried to say... the worse we play, the value of or tradable assets goes down every single minute. Glad we at least moved Paddock

    We can again disagree on which national media we follow :) but ESPN gives tigers a D, twins a C. Is a C great, no, because this is such an insignificant trade. But at least to them, the Twins win it. Will it take us 4 years to find out? Yes. folks (not you) riled up over a Paddock/Dobnak trade are giving me a good laugh.

    I'm not saying you must trade, but Joe Ryan's trade value (and Duran/Jax) literally goes down every minute from here. They are at the tops of their game, and their window of control gets shorter and shorter. its great they are playing awesome, but the team is going nowhere. Its all for no meaning. The longer it goes, the less the return will be.
