    This report is epic. Circa 2005 Sethspeaks. i too am curious about Questad. I know he had injuries, and the numbers you posted were brutal. But why release such a young guy? Not dying on the vine for this one but it struck me.. thanks for 20+ years of awesome coverage Seth

    Go ahead and root for the jays b/c a guy from Concordia has had one decent half year for a terrible team. I'll take Rojas every day, but enjoy your '5 years' I'm sure Lois will be great at 34 yrs old in Toronto

    This is 100% correct and why arm chair fans suck. Sorry.... Royce is a good player not great. . He was one of 5 guys teams considered #1. Should we have drafted Brendan Mcay or whatever his name was? The new Ohtani, that's now pumping gas somewhere? I hate cynicism

    This is any negotiation in any business. Really good article don't get me wrong but no one ever says 'I really really really want or don't want this what do u think?' It's a dance. Falvey changed the course of this team in a hugely positive way this time last year. Disagree, dislike, hate the comment.... but are you having more fun now, and feel the future is brighter? That was his job. if you see what we have, where we are, and what we gave up (I think we were like 5% chance to make the playoffs this time last year) .... if I'm DF, I do what he did. In the worst of the many critics moves.... I'll ride with Rojas vs Louis every day. Check back in 3 years. and no, I'm not Falvey

    The only thing worse than the tone of the article, is the take. I'm sorry folks, Jeffers is not signing here long term. And I believe next years qualifying offer is $23 million. - and that can't happening.. So if you don't trade him, enjoy the next 2 months, then you have nothing. Not a world I would play in. but you really really really want to keep him and the price tags that comes because you are a 'good fan'? Then it is gross negligence to have traded Duran to get Tait and spend our top 2 draft picks on catchers. players coaches and gms have been trying to tell you baseball is a business for 30 years..... you may want to start believing them. You get what you can for Jeffers before he walks for zero.
