Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I might even still buy the Extra Innings cable package to watch at home. And use the mlb package to watch in my iPad when I'm away from home, which I am frequently enough between work and travel.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Seeing alot of different things so far this inning for the Twins. There were times last year that I thought they forgot about the Sac Fly.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Sitting in the sun out there in left field looks nice about now.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Did you intend for those asterisks to be arranged so they are almost anatomically correct? I'll ban myself for 24 hours Dude, you need to get that looked at if that's the case.

JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I know ST games are meaningless .... at least in terms of the scoreboard ... but a good run of ST games could do a lot for the confidence of the Twins. More important to them than most teams I would think.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 That was a nice throw! I'm giddy with live baseball
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Well, live on TV ... it'll be really live for me soon!
Jerr Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Hicks especially needs the ST confidence, nice throw!
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Good for Diamond to work out of that ... with a little help from Mr. Hicks.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Hicks looking pretty darn good in center.
alskntwnsfn Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Anybody else getting crappy audio? I sounds like the mic is bad, or they're talking too close. Anybody else?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Anybody else getting crappy audio? I sounds like the mic is bad, or they're talking too close. Anybody else? Yeah ... it's not great ...
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 It's a little like they are in a bucket on the TV audio. But I'm so used to absolutely crappy audio on college BB lately that I just kind of ignore it.
Jerr Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Anybody else getting crappy audio? I sounds like the mic is bad, or they're talking too close. Anybody else? I was, but it just got better! Thanks for bringing it up, as you fixed it:jump:
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Will the improvements at Hammond include wifi? I know, a random question.
Jerr Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Gotta check out the Yankees and their new pitcher:o
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 That's right Tanaka started today. Unfortunately I don't do mlb.com TV. Since I'm in Iowa we're blacked out on 6 markets. I have Dish so that's kind of a good thing cuz Twins, WSox, Cubs, Royals, Cards, Brewers are all included without going for an extra innings package. But I do miss those east and west coast home games.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Came in, in the 5th and gave up a hit:D Is it incredibly mean-spirited of me to kind of wish he's a big bust?
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Is it incredibly mean-spirited of me to kind of wish he's a big bust? I'm kind of mean, too. He doesn't have to be a big bust .... just kind of mediocre.
Brad Swanson Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 That Bill Smith guy sounds pretty smart to me. The Twins should promote him.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Is it incredibly mean-spirited of me to kind of wish he's a big bust? No, personally I'm hoping for Nishi 2.0 type bust myself.
Jerr Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Mediocre is fine! I just hate to see all the BIG money going to unproven players!
Jerr Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Tanaka has 3 SO's and is looking good..... BUT, it is Spring training:p back to the Twins.
