gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Cracked.com had a silly post today about scientific answers to silly questions, including what is the catchiest song. The answer, "We are the Champions" by Queen. I don't quite agree - it'll stick in your head but I heard Billy Squier's "In the Dark" (not a good song) but that sucker stuck in my head for a week.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 This has my vote. Every time it comes up on my playlist I just want to dance down the street, or around the room, or down the aisles of the store ... wherever I am. And I don't dance. At least not what anyone else would call dancing. MARK RONSON - GOD PUT A SMILE UPON YOUR FACE - YouTube It really grooves.

ashbury Verified Member Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 My vote goes to the song Epizootics off the latest album of the Legendary Scott Walker. That's a happy kind of music. I've been known to get hung up on a particular song for days, to the annoyance of anyone around me. After seeing a particular Tarantino movie, I antagonized my son with these renditions (among many fun covers) of Chick Habit: (needs to be at some volume) (the version in the movie)
