I'm not a believer. I was coming into this game. I thought Murray would look legit, especially with Gardner out. He just didn't. 

I still disagree with you about this being the worst 6-0 team ever haha. Idk how that’s possible when 2 out of the 3 phases of the game are this dominant. 2022 when we were winning in bonkers ways? Yeah that was fraudulent. 

This D is too good and who knows how good it will be in the future. Flores could leave for a HC gig and the whole system comes crashing down. That’s why I want to at least try going for it this year.

I'd do that, but it looks like the trade deadline is November 10th. The 3-3 Raiders have the Rams this week, then the Jets, then the 49ers. Do they sell if they are 4-5? With a new head coach and some team enthusiasm, I kind of think they wouldn't. Might have to hope that they lose to the Jets.

I don't see the Wilfs replacing the head coach if this team makes the playoffs. Particularly since every NFL wonk on the planet picked the Vikings to finish last in the division.

At this point in the NFC, it seems like you just have to win the division and keep ahead of SF to get that one seed. There’s a big drop off in the standings after the niners

Murray hasn't been good, but after that first series in game one, I thought it was going to be three stooges stuff all season. 

Honestly, I think Murray is doing what the Vikings had planned all along. The team's new shift toward a run heavy, ball control passing offense looks like KOC wanted to do what Seattle did. Despite Murray's short comings (pun absolutely intended), he doesn't turn the ball over much.

Of course Klint Kubiak has been running that offense since 2021. And Seattle had two RBs better than either of the Vikings two RBs.  Oh, and Seattle has one of the best run blocking AND pass blocking offensive lines in the league.

The deep ball is especially painful. Just a  blind rainbow throw and hope the WR can get close to it.

Cousins is the only QB I'd be interested in though. I know how down you are on Murray, but he still looks better than pretty much any other reasonable option. Presuming Herbert isn't on the move too.

Right, if they're going with Mendoza, they'll want good-soldier veteran QB as his backup. Not that they'd want him, but I'd guess they'd prefer Wentz.

Gonna be an interesting next couple of weeks. I’m sure Teasley didn’t have it in his plans to push the chips in only a couple of months into his tenure. 

Unless the offense has a miracle turnaround they’re bad enough to get us bounced in the first playoff game

You gotta go for whatever they can I guess. The NFC as a whole is down. SF is beatable. Too bad the schedule is so hard. Today was largely a disappointment coming off the bye at home like that.
