I don't know that I see the fit, but this article seems to think the Twins like him as a right handed platoon option. Do you like him more than, say, Austin Martin in the same role?

Just for reference, this year he is hitting .326/418/457 against left handed pitching.

If that continues, that could certainly help a team that has been dismal (without Buxton) hitting left handed pitching.

To me, it would also mean that the deadline would have multiple outfielders traded away. 

Without multiple outfielders traded away, I definitely don't see a fit.

 

Otherwise, he also was born in Burnsville if people do care about guys from MN.
