notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 One of my favorite pitchers of the past 10+ years suffered a horrific injury covering first base tonight. There's videos on youtube, but you don't want to watch it. I wish him well in his recovery and hopefully this isn't the end of his career.

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Tim Hudson's injury was cringe-worthy, but hardly "horrific." That word should be held in reserve for massive 3rd degree burns, limbs torn off and bodies extracted from the bellies of giant snakes.
biggentleben Verified Member Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 It's up there with the Jason Kendall injury. Shame for Tim as he's perhaps not a Hall of Fame pitcher (thought I would bet he is on the ballot for a few years as he's a borderline candidate), but he's absolutely a Hall of Fame person.
