Twins remaining schedule

So I was looking at the Twins remaining schedule, it is not that difficult. Obviously, I do not think the Twins will make the playoffs, but I think there is a real chance to get decently close to .500. I think we have a chance to not lose 90 games this year.

I think progress in the seasonal W/L record is good, but even better will be if it occurs because of players making their case for being part of the next really good team.

The Twins could have a + .500 record for a number of reasons. The strength of schedule is a good reason. The pitchers will pitch better and hitters will hit better. Much of the complaining will be forgotten.

We have started by winning the first 2 of our last 70 games. The Twins play within the division for most of August. We only have 5 games with Toronto and 3 games with Tampa. We have a few games against Texas, Oakland and the Angels, but we have a bunch of games against Houston.

If the Twins don't do well against this schedule, they deserve all the criticism that they get.

Cleveland is supposed to have an easy schedule the second half because they play the Twins a bunch of times.

the one thing in the Twins favor is that they play more home games than roadies during the months of August and September. Twins 23-23 at home, 18-30 on the road

I'm seeing a 68-73 win season. .500 at home and .400+ on the road. It looks like the team will have a pretty good schedule for August with tougher games in September. September could change depending on who is still in contention and who isn't at that time.
