Both of these players have a reasonable shot at having a significant career. It doesn’t matter how they arrived on the Twins and whether I like the trade. They are Twins now and Roden is getting an opportunity that he wasn’t getting with the Jays. Maybe in a few years JaysCentre will be wondering how they could let Roden like we wonder about Rooker.

Rojas seems to be the key to that deal.  Roden is a bit redundant to Larnach from what I've seen (though a much better athlete).
