Sigh. Glad I'm not watching this game. It looks so typical

I would be happy with typical tonight. This has been a festival of bad performances by the Twins:

1. Inability to score on a 41 year old pitcher after a decent first inning.

2. 2 official errors, but seems like there should have been more.

3. Second Burton implosion in 2 games.

4. That look Gardy always gets when the Yankees come back -- I have seen that look too many times over too many years.

5. The Twins just seem to fall apart against the Yankees. I can't help wondering how the world might be different if the Twins had a manager like Girardi.

I switched to the Yankees feed an hour ago. I could not bear the Twins feed any longer.

Not sure about. Heard parts of West VA and Kentucky are pretty special too. I mean think about Kentucky's abbreviation a bit

I was in Alabama a few years ago. Went Conoeing down the the Choctawhatchie River with an old friend who lives in Southern Alabama. Seen some lizards, seen some hillbillies flee from the shore when we were approaching. When reflecting upon this - I feel pretty fortunate that I did not have to reenact Ned Beatty's performance in Deliverance.

Bremer is usually the eternal optimist. It's always weird for me to hear the sense of disgust and resignation in his voice during games like this.

No.5. This is what meant as being typical. Am only following game day but oh and sigh

Maybe this is the game that gets Theibar(?) more meaningful innings, instead of throwing Brian "2013 gascan" Duensing out there.

Crimony. I'm going to bed. Not even going to say more about Bark's near-squealing adventure

Have a good night my friend -- you are wise to wait until tomorrow to learn the full extent of the Twins chokitude.

I was going to go to bed ... but now its like watching the disaster footage to see how bad things are.

Twins walk in a run then Hafner scores easily on a passed ball.

How much worse could this get?

Yankees announcers seem amazed at Doumit's incompetence as a catcher.

Remember when Matthew LeCroy was with the Nationals and he got pulled mid-game because he couldn't throw anybody out?

I haven't been disappointed very often by a Twins' loss, but I'm pretty peeved right now. The Yankees were ripe for the picking and the lineup is not good. Yet, somehow they have scored 10 runs. The defense has been poor, especially the pitcher and catcher. I haven't been too upset about Doumit's catching defense but today it has been pathetic (perhaps due to ankle). I have been on board for Doumit as Mauer's backup, but go with somebody with better defensive skills! I still would rather see Pinto than Son of Sal or a utility guy like Herrmann.

Frank Robinson cried.

Didn't someone post recently "best bullpen in the AL" regarding the Twins?

Not a good night tonight... If I understand this thread correctly.

Your comprehension skills have not failed you.

Saw the score was a little out of reach when I got home and decided to not turn the TV on... in protest.

That'll learn em!!!

Well' date=' at least the last 1/3 of it.[/quote']

Even good Bullpens implode every once in awhile but I am a little concerned about Burton.

Didnt see what happened tonight but I've seen him lately and the box score suggests its getting worse.

One of the more disgusting performances of the year, to be sure.

Diamond was okay, Dozier had two hits and a walk and Parm smacked a homer and a double. Everything else was pretty much terrible, but there were a couple of bright spots.

We could have used your humor tonight. Even a week in Hawaii with Olivia might not be enough to erase the putridness of tonight's game.

2.5 yrs of "but there were a couple of bright spots" doesn't do much for me.
