Original_JB Verified Member Posted January 22, 2025 Posted January 22, 2025 Yeah, Ol' Crooked Cap; the guy Twins fans could hate with a passion be it with the Tribe or the Evil Empire. Not saying he isn't deserving, he is, I'd just grit my teeth, curse a bit, and hope for a continuous flow of bunts to force him to field his position whenever he'd start against us. mnfireman 1

I never had anything against Sabathia. I thought he was one of MLB's greatest characters - thrilled he got in. Wagner never got the love he deserved. And I know there are people that are mystified that people are mad someone left Ichiro off their ballot. (Barreiro) But the problem is that the voter isn't making their vote with an evaluation of talent but instead bringing their own nonsense to the process. I reject the nonsense, not the percentage - that's why I don't like that he missed being unanimous by one vote. Baseball doesn't know how to kill it's old, tired nonsense. Parfigliano 1
tony&rodney Verified Member Posted January 31, 2025 Posted January 31, 2025 I wish numbers weren't retired, for any team. When I think of the Hall of Fame I am reminded that #3, #6, #29 will not be on the back of any present or future Twin. I think Joe Mauer would love to see Walker Jenkins slashing base hits to left field on outside pitches.
Kyle DeBarge Wichita Wind Surge - AA 2B/CF On Sunday, DeBarge went 3-for-3 with a walk and a double. It was his second multi-hit game in his past three games. Explore Kyle DeBarge News >
