USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 Among all the disappointments so far this dreary season, the player I'm most disappointed in so far is Julien. He looked like such a dangerous hitter last season. wabene and David HK 2

OvertheHill Verified Member Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 Jeffers had a nice AB. Took a low and away pitch back up the middle as opposed to taking a wild home run swing. Little things that give hope.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 I’m totally fine with striking out looking against Cannon, as it means you’re forcing him to throw strikes instead of unhittable pitches six inches off the ground.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Big game for Chicago. If the White Sox lose today... they are mathematically eliminated. David HK and RpR 2

He’s hard to read, and it seems like narrative around him has changed. I read him last year as a potential high OBP guy, patient hitter, but the buzz this year is that he’s swinging for the fences and/or guessing on pitches.

UpstateNewYorker Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Miranda pretty slow getting to first on that DP. I checked his sprint speed on Baseball Savant, but apparently he doesn't have enough attempts on the season to register. Vazquez ranks as the slowest Twin (24.5 ft/sec). Any guesses as who is the second slowest?

Teflon Verified Member Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Nice seeing Matt LeCroy again and hearing the Gardy stories. I seem to recall Gardy referring to Matt as "Softball Sammy" a time or two in his postgame comments.
