mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 Like for Seattle to win the next 2 against Houston , and that they have to go into the weekend using Verlander and Valdez in order to even make it, , Houston seems to be better on the Road , Seattle and Texas not as much. be even better if all of them Toronto- Texas - Seattle -Houston are unable to set up the Games 1-2 Starters, Something to keep a eye on anyway, gonna be a wild ride to see who we Get, Welcome back Paddock and Brock were gonna need em both ,And now with Varland also Mr Jax and his 10 Losses should now be no where near the 8th and 9th , Go Twins
Dave Borton Verified Member Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 Those of you who have MLB radio, try some of the A's broadcast. Ken Korach is one of my faves. Not sure who is doing color tonight. I don't recognize his voice. Right now they are singing the praises of Target Field. IndianaTwin 1

MMMordabito Verified Member Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 Solano absolutely can't be at 3rd in the playoffs. The arm just isn't there.

Dave Borton Verified Member Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 Audacy needs to quit using interns to queue up commercials. Numerous times, on a variety of team broadcasts, 2 outs and here comes the commercial. Just happened on A's cast.

Willi and Farmer should be available in the postseason, for sure. Not so sure on Lewis, but Solano won't be seeing third base.

mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 We all seemed to be so concerned with the Pitching, But the one constant All year, has been the Twins are the Worst in Baseball with Striking Out, Sure hope that can be Turned around and also maybe alot more Small balldelli might be needed., RpR 1

He was a wizard there and crushed Twins fans with great plays. I recall he always wore a batting helmet with a short visor. Had no idea why. stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 The way guys are swinging right now, I think Wallner should be hitting before Kirilloff.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 That may be the longest HR I’ve seen at Target Field. Wow! Wallner sent it to the moon Squirrel and RpR 2

stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 If Ober is the fifth starter (by a lot), then the Twins have a pretty great rotation.
GusGus11 Verified Member Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 A brutal 5 game stretch had people questioning if Wallner would even make the playoff roster He might start games vs lefties even...
Unwinder Verified Member Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 I'm at the game and was arguing with someone about my seat when Wallner hit that salami, totally missed it
SteveLV Verified Member Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 MLB has it at 463 feet. I think they are guessing. Mammoth shot to Right Center all the way beyond the seating area.

Hopefully he's close to, or at 100%, and is ready to eat a few innings when he's needed. No ill will towards Floro, but I won't miss him. He might clear anyway and end up with the Saints next season. No reason why Floro won't clear or not accept the assignment. He'll sit in imaginary AAA just in case. RpR 1
RpR Verified Member Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 The longest at Target Field was 496 by Sano, but with the new way they measure it is still pretty much by guess and by gosh.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Pretty quick turn to get Ruiz on a GDP.
Linus Verified Member Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 That turn by Polo was a thing of beauty. There is so much that goes into a good double play combo. Little things like letting the ball come to you with both hands together (the ball travels faster than your hands). Julien frequently reaches his glove out to full extension to grab the ball and then has to bring them together which is way slower. RpR and Jocko87 2
