Since Jax's last clean outing on JULY 23rd against the White Sox

8.1 innings

15 hits, 2 hit batters, and 3 walks

WHIP of 2.4

7 earned runs

3 of 4 home runs given up on the season

He had an unlucky stretch at the beginning of the season, but this has been a stretch of straight-up terrible pitching.

What are we doing here giving him high-leverage outings right now? Please give me Pagan over him every single day right now.

Pagan did pitch yesterday.....

I hope none of the people bemoaning the bullpen are the same people who were glad the FO sat on their hands while bullpen help was available.

Don't blame Rocco for his options.

Blaming Rocco for this bullpen is bonkers. There are what, two guys they can count on? Three? I have no idea how people blame Rocco for this.

Did people really want Balazovich or Winder in there instead of Jax? Those same people that rip him for using those guys?

He pitched in the 6th, hence lower leverage than Jax in the 7th. My point is to get Jax out of high leverage situations altogether right now because he has literally been terrible.

You really think that would matter yesterday? If Jax pitched the 6th instead of the 7th? Really?

Boy do you love arguing with people. Jax faced the 9, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 hitters. He got one of their 1-5 hitters out while giving up a triple and two home runs, so yes I do think it matters.

Fair, in context of yesterday, but I'm not sure that's leverage specific in terms of what inning, which I thought was your argument.. You stated an opinion, I asked about it, nothing more or less.

Great info. I had no idea.
