glunn Community Moderator Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Interesting report, Cody. The injury to Arcia is concerning -- I hope that it turns out to be minor.
greengoblinrulz Provisional Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 AA & AAA are severely lacking in OF depth right now
righty8383 Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 May is doing ok. But I would like to see a few more punch outs.
mudcat14 Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Something tells me May finishes the season as a starter, but becomes a potential closer next year due to his inability to master the control of multiple pitches. I'm just spitballing here, but I think he has to work too hard to try and mix things up over multiple innings, and will be much better suited to just come in and rock & fire for one inning at a time.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Lucky for the Twins, Arcia got hurt after his demotion. Had it happened at the MLB level this would still count against his service time.
Tibs Verified Member Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Saying "The Tigers offense pounced on Mike Pelfrey" isn't quite a fair assessment to me. He looked solid for most of the start, but got into trouble in the 6th inning and the bullpen didn't come through for him.
